This is literally a dream house! I wish we could have stayed there in our whole journey! What an amazing surrounding, the view from every window is like a cart postal! Everything was so perfect and cosy!! Definitely the best stay we had, highly recommend, a taste of original Icelandic living!

Such a cute little cabin and felt more spacious than the photos looked! We saw the northern lights going outside to round the back and looking north, and the owner was very sweet and attentive going out of her way to help our comfort and bring some extra pillows as we struggle to sleep with only one so that was very kind and it was very windy, it was very snowy around but the roads were manageable with 4x4 and lovely views around, good shower good firm beds, nice bedding, great mini fridge and freezer option good oven/ hob, kitchen was good with lots of utensils to use, very warm and cosy and peaceful and private, we liked having a tv, it has smart access too, WiFi was great, the supermarket closes at 7pm bear this in mind as we didn’t 😅

We loved our stay in this Guesthouse a lot. We stayed only one night but would love to stay longer. The area is very quiet and the room we stayed in had a spectacular view (we were lucky to watch the best Aurora from our bed 😀).The breakfast was delicious with a good coffee as well. We really recommend to stay here.

Superb location! We were very well welcomed by the owner and his friends. Since it was low season for fishing, and there was no extra staff, we had a restaurant kitchen at our beck and call. The room has a nice view of the rear garden and the ensuite bathroom was clean and new.

Very clean rooms, everything brand new renovated , brand new quality beds, pillows and duvets, towels. All the facility were clean, the shared bathrooms had amazing views and good showers. Always enough papers, trash always emptied. Kitchen had everything you need very spacious and clean. We met the hotel manager Lilja she was amazing , she told us history about the place , very easy to reach staff on site. Lilja was more then welcome and educated about the place and herself well traveled around the world. She showed us the old historic elements of the houses. The stay there was so peaceful and homie. This will be a place we will come to again without a question. We had the most amazing time there and there is nothing negative to say about our stay. Amazing environment there and energy was unmatched. What the owners and facility is doing with the place is amazing and inspiration to mix the new with old.
