Just a few minutes off the ring road, on a pretty farm by a lake. We got a very nice and cosy room with a view of the lake and a lovely little church. Big bed and enough space. Bathroom is pretty large, there is additional toilet. Kitchen is rather for max two people cooking, but it had everything we needed. Very nice owner (and a cute cat!), some horses and sheeps to watch nearby

The owners have thought of everything for their guests comfort. The cottage looks deceptively small outside but is amazing inside. The panoramic windows in the living room have incredible views down the valley. Although it is in a fairly remote location(the nearest town is 20 minutes away), it is just off the main ring road around Iceland. Don’t be worried about road noise. The road is not that busy and you can’t hear a thing inside the house. The kitchen is fully equipped - there’s even a dishwasher. There are other accommodations on the property but nobody bothered us.

I loved everything about this B&B. The location was absolutely lovely. The room was very comfortable and had a great view. Bathroom excellent and clean and excellent well equipped kitchen.

Free parking and is in a very quiet area near the river and in the middle of the mountains. It’s very beautiful in the morning when the mist is covering parts of the mountains. It’s natural. The location is not very far from Blonduos which restaurants and other amenities are.

This property is 6 km from the Route 1 Ring Road. Free slippers, a bathrobe, and use of the summer outdoor swimming pool in Hótel Húni's rooms.

A great value for money! This guesthouse is in the premises of what used to be a school but nicely renovated preserving the school vibe. My daughter especially liked the gym where she could play and do sports. And we all appreciated the heated outside pool which was great after a long day sightseeing. The staff is super nice too.

Located in Blönduós, Brekkukot Cottages, Blönduós provides accommodation with seating area. There is a private entrance at the homestay for the convenience of those who stay.

Great location with sweeping views over amazing landscape. Cabin is comfortable, well located and well furnished and appointed. Everything you need for your stay. Weather was terrible the night I stayed, but didn't hear or feel a thing; was able to sit in the comfort and warm and watch it snowing outside in a gale. Cozy, and a great feeling. Super clean, well designed, easy to check in / out and I would definitely stay again.

Very private. Perfect location for Northern lights spotting, especially from the hot pot(tub) and deck. Very picturesque with gorgeous views from every window. Just out of town, well equipped kitchen. Quick communication responses from very welcoming hosts, who dropped by to check all was well, after I'd messaged looking for the hotpot plug, which they had replied to with the answer. Cosy, Icelandic decor just added a great vibe to the stay. Comfortable and charming, thank you.
