Signora Gina was very nice, freindly and helpful. The whole appartman was beautiful and sparkling clean. We had fantastic breakfasts on the beautiful terrace with flowers. There were shop, bakery, restaurants nearby and the sea at end of the street. Parking was possible in the parking garage two minutes away.

The house had everything we needed, great decorations, clean and the balcony is a really great place to enjoy breakfast or chill in the evening. It's situated very conveniently ( great snorkeling at Ciclope beach, big supermarket nearby and places to eat- you must try Family food), close to Catania and highway entrance), park place in front. Car is necessary however. The host is very friendly and reachable. We were visited by Luna, a neighbor's cat, by the balcony as she loves to chill there silently, she was a nice surprise , clean and well behaved ( she's on a special diet please don't feed her:). We had a wonderful week at Alesia's home and definitely recommend it.

Everything was really uncomplicated, Camilla was really friendly and we could even stay for two more nights spontaneously. The appartement is just amazing containing everything you need, even a coffee machine. The view from the balcony is an absolute highlight. Thw location is perfect too, very quiet but just a few minutes to walk to the beach and the city center with it's nice restaurants and cafés. I would absolutely recommend staying in Scià sul Mare!

Really nice and friendly hosts. The apartment is spacious with fully-equipped kitchen. Everything you need for a stay with kids. Very comfortable beds where you can sleep well all night :) A big advantage is a huge, sunny terrace where you can have your breakfast or coffee in the morning :) The place was clean which is very important for me. The aparment is located in a quiet area, on a dead-end street where only a few neighours come to park their cars, so the neighbourhood is really quiet. I wouldn't hestitate to rent this apartment again in the future.

    Aci Castello (AC) is located a 15 minute drive from central Catania and therefore is out of the fray, as we say. The AC promenade has stunning scenery and south of AC is home to many lidos i.e., beach resorts. AC is close to Catania City Center, Mt. Etna and Taormina, three must-see attractions. You will need to rent a car or motor scooter as there looked to be very little public transportation in the AC area.

    Very beautiful quiet place! The sea is clean and beautiful.

    Very beautiful quiet place! The sea is clean and beautiful. Nearby is the volcano Etna. In the town there are many cafes and restaurants on the embankment. I recommend renting a canoe and a catamaran, go on an excursion to the volcano. The apartment has everything you need for a relaxing holiday, it is clean and cozy. The owner helped us with all our questions.

    We were there for 3 days in mid-February.

    We were there for 3 days in mid-February. And these were wonderful sunny days in a good place. What struck us most was the fresh fruit every day that grew on the trees - tangerines, oranges, lemons. And these are the most delicious fruits we have ever tasted. Very friendly hosts. The only thing we were not used to was that it was warmer outside than in the house. We had to constantly turn on the air conditioner. Of the minuses, the fold-out sofa is not very comfortable. Otherwise, everything is great.

    My favourite spot was having a beer at the beach kiosk. Would have loved to stay longer to explore more restaurants as we didn't manage to find a perfect one. Loved walking around in the evening and there even was the festa.

    Locals were rude and often very Arrogant and attempted to overcharge far too many times. They hope you won’t challenge them about it. My advice is , Ask how much before paying and Check your receipts and bills . The town is scruffy and dirty. The vast amounts of discarded Rubbish on the streets is difficult to ignore. Definitely would not return. Positive note : The sea view and the sunset is beautiful.

    Appartement for a reasonable price. Location is just perfect, beaches all around, trip possibilities, nice neighborhood, possibility of getting or eating around Aci Castello, appartemenet is reasonable equipped.

    A wonderful little hotel, privately run, in a perfect location for a stay in the center of Aci Castello. The rooms are well designed and modern hinting on style and luxury, while the breakfast "room" is unique, being situated in a small enclosed garden/inner court.     Everything was just fine.Very nice and friendly hosts. Spacious rooms and well equipped flat. Kitchen is OK for doing some quick warm-up. View from the terrace is spectacular. A good place close to Catania. Small groceries and coffee shop can be found easily. There is no close restaurant to walk there, but pizza can be ordered not far down the street.

    Next to the rocky beach, the sea is amazing. The balcony was spacious. There was a washing machine. Good air condition. The kind host was available all the time. Lots of restaurants nearby.
