Everything was beautiful and the staff was exceptional and soo sweet. We got a last minute booking at their restaurant and the manager took very good care of us and we got some of the best food we have tried with an amazing view!. The pool are was so nice and I can't get over how sweet, nice and amazing the staff people were. Everything was perfect, the best hotel experience we have had. I would stay there again 100%!!.

Hotel Gentile is in the main square of Agerola. if you are doing the Path of the Gods walk it starts outside the hotel so perfect location . has a good restaurant and Mario the owner is very friendly and helpful nice rooms , good breakfast and good price I will be back another time

We booked a room at Terrazza 72 when it didn't have any reviews and it turned out to be one of our best choices ever, from the rooms, the breakfast to the lovely owners Rosalba and Nicola, who are one of the most welcoming, warm-hearted, helpful people we ever met, we couldn't have wished for better. The rooms are amazing, well tought-out and exceptionally clean. For breakfast everything is homemade, fresh and delicius. Amazing. If it was possible to give more than 10 points, we would give infinite.

What a fabulous place. The staff are exceptional, as is the attention to detail. The owner, Marcello, is the most wonderful host. I got lost and arrived well after my check in time. Missed out on going to a restaurant. Marcello said he would bring me a complimentary glass of wine and returned with bread, cheese, cooked and crude ham, plus another selection of cheeses and some beautiful mushrooms in olive oil!!! How incredibly kind of him to be so thoughtful and generous. It was a first for me to be treated so kindly. He deserves a huge hug which I admit I gave him. What an amazing time I had. Breakfast was beautiful too! Thank you to all of them. The room was perfect as well! This property has been created with style and loving care. Please visit there. You will be delighted.

The location of the apartment is good from the side of the transport connection (there is a bus stop to Amalfi). The apartment is very clean and cozy. We stayed here for 5 nights and were fully satisfied with the amenities. Many thanks to Maria for hospitality and assistance!

La Dolce Vita is great location. Lots of trails starts near by only few minutes away. Not far from Amalfi, Sorento, Naples or Pompeii. You are are in a central location for lots of attractions!!! There is also beautiful beach Fiordo di Furore only few minutes drive and plus a bit of walk, but it is worth it!! My wife and I stayed at La Dolce Vita 7 nights and tell you what we could stay there another month. Room was very spacious, fresh look and very clean. Every day the bed was done and freshness has been brought to the room which we wouldn’t even expect. Room with air conditioning system, big comfortable bed makes you feel like you’re staying in luxury resort. If you need and logistics questions, just ask Marco he will help you with everything. There are lots of buses, boats to go or come back from long walks - we did the Trail of the Gods and got the ferry and a bus back so we didn’t have to walk the route in reverse. Breakfast was truly amazing!! Every morning, lovely Teressa, (mum) was baking fresh sourdough croissants and other traditional homemade cakes. Fresh tomatoes, grilled courgette, mozzarella and ham was served along with omelette and parmesan cheese. Not mentioned about amazing coffee!!! Besides that you have still options with fresh fruits, yoghurt, toast, cereals etc. Marco and his family are very friendly, warm people and they always made us feel very welcome. We would definitely recommend La Dolce Vita!

Agerola provides an escape from the tourist busy towns on...

Agerola provides an escape from the tourist busy towns on the Amalfi coast. It is higher in elevation than the towns of Amalfi, Positano and Maiori. These towns are port towns and in the busy travel months are always full of tourists. However, there is more to do in these towns than in Agerola, and if you plan to only stay in one of those towns, only go between 2 close towns, spend your vacation time on the beach, then I would recommend to stay in one of the coast towns. If you want a more central point to all of these and other towns (ex. Sorrento, Ravello, etc...) and plan to travel each day to a new town and a quiet place to rest at night, then Agerola is a great place to stay. If you stay in Agerola and since the roads are one lane both ways, you have to factor in travel times to all other towns (in case you need to catch a ferry, have dinner reservations, etc...).

The small town feel of Agerola was great as we arrived from...

The small town feel of Agerola was great as we arrived from Rome which was really chaotic Loved the rooms. Better if there was an elevator for those staying in the upper storeys. Love the breakfast. Better if more helpers rather than just the 1 person who was overwhelmed by the needs of everyone. Value for the money no equal. Was the best deal in our Italy tour

Agerola was a small village that was used as a drop off...

Agerola was a small village that was used as a drop off point by the hotel shuttle from where either a private or public bus could be caught to Amalfi on the coast. The were several cafes and restaurants around the place for a coffee whilst waiting for the bus. The area would be extremely attractive for hikers which we are not.

A quiet and peaceful area with many possibilities and attractions. Excellent public transport connections. Close to beaches, mountain trails, picturesque towns and restaurants. Excellent hotel infrastructure. Various types of shops - from grocery stores to hiking equipment. Limited but free public parking. Scooters available for hire. Public laundries.

We loved where we stayed.

We loved where we stayed. Last year, we visited the Amalfi Coast which was beautiful. This year we went to Capri, which was amazing. The local shops were great and the people are very friendly and helpful. We ate locally or cooked and had a few favourite spots. It was easy to walk around where we stayed, for longer trips we had the rental car. We could ask our host for directions and tips on where to visit.

The property itself is stunning.

The property itself is stunning. It is nestled in a lovely country side area, with beautiful mountain views, and easy access to bus routes that get you across the Amalfi coast, but enable a quiet nights rest away from the super touristy spots. Breakfast is more than a typical Italian breakfast in quantity, and the hostesses are exceptionally attentive and helpful. There are amenities like laundry, groceries and local restaurants all within walking distance. We would definitely return.

We stayed at Mamaral from 8th until the 10th of July, had a smooth check-in and our lovely host Laura was very helpful and friendly to answer all of our questions. The breakfast prepared by Laura and her mom was also looked appetizing and were delicious. Clean building and room, parking spot was also included. Near this hotel you cand find local grocery stores, restaurants and with some time amd energy, you can even reach the sea!

Hotel is so high located it feels like you are in an aeroplane. The Italian Imerovigli. Because there were no bright light during the night you coud see the stars🙂 Situated so hight that the temperature was around 5 degrees Celsius less than elsewhere so we did’t need to suffer the heatwave. There is an excellent restaurant near.

A very well located family hotel. In the mountain, where is extremely beautiful and not so hot. Besides Amalfi is not far away from San Lazzaro with daily transport every hour. The owners are very polite and helpful. We enjoyed our stay there a lot and we highly recommended Casale Paradiso.
