Wow wow + wow! We absolutely LOVED our stay at Le Chalet. Roberto + his wife were incredibly friendly + so helpful to us we really appreciate the extra effort. The chalet itself was completely perfect, warm, clean, beautifully designed + very homely. Extra touches such as bottled water, beautiful blankets, tea, coffee, fresh towels all done very very well. Beds very comfy. We wish we could have stayed longer. The views were also outstanding.Highly recommend.

It would have been even nicer if the Castello parabelli had been open occasionally, if there had been a bridge over the Adda at the Sanctuary, and if the woodpiles from the competition had been on display for a bit longer.

The location of the hamlet is a bit isolated but easy to reach and in a few minutes you are in the city, beautiful landscape and panorama, clean air and quiet and peaceful area, not far away there are restaurants, farmhouses and pizzerias where you can dine tasting foods of the valley, I recommend it

We booked this hotel as a stopover for 1 night travelling back from Italy to the UK. The hotel is quite large but in a small and quiet village on the hillside overlooking Sondrio town. The owner welcomed us directly and offered his garage for the motorbikes. He also ran the restaurant which was of a very high standard - the food and the service were excellent (actually the best we had during our whole stay in Italy) and the location in the very nice garden at the back of the hotel. Our twin room had aircon, most welcome given it was 38deg.

When we arrived the service for lunch had started and without any problem an extra table was made ready for us, which was a really nice lunch. Because we were the only guests at the hotel that evening we got a special menu for dinner with hand picked mushrooms which was delicious. The room was spacious and the bed and pillows were great. Overall a very nice stay

Cozy and clean hotel with nice view to Sondrio town and mountains in a quite place, hotel place is easy reachable by car from western end, parking in front of the hotel, very friendly staff and good communication, tasty and excellent breakfast. As it was very hot days in Italy so air conditioning was a must in the room.

Breakfast was exclusive, very delicious, a lot of choice. Cheeses were very special. Location is very convinient, near the river promenade and trade center. Also the big picnic area between hotel and the river.
