A comfortable apartment with everything you might need. The host is very thoughtful, they left a bottle of water, some coffee and even croissants in the apartment - very handy when you arrive late and don't have time for essentials. The villa is located in a quiet area, slightly away from from town centre. Super easy parking in front of the apartment. Excellent choice if you need a base for road trips around the area - Barolo, Asti, Alba, Barbaresco, Canelly etc. Special note for late season travellers: the apartment was very warm in November, great heating!

The host Marco not only helped me find an excellent restaurant but also drove his car ahead of mine to lead me there (2kms from the hotel) to be sure I found it before they closed. If you are not familiar with rural European roads you will find this trip a little challenging due to the tight corners and small roadways. Give yourself extra travel time so you don't stress the bumps and hairpin turns. Enjoy the views.

You don´t need a lot of time for this town, it is small.

You don´t need a lot of time for this town, it is small. However there are many towns in the area to be explored, so it is perfect to use as a base to travel from. You would need to be travelling by car to fully experience the area.

Brilliant for those who enjoy smaller villages and the beautiful vineyards. Many cyclists & tourists came through the village. Our favourite places for meals were Cassine, Acqui Terme, Asti & Alba. A very small village but definitely worth staying to see the beautiful view at the highest point.

Alice is a cute, small village on too of a hill in...

Alice is a cute, small village on too of a hill in Monferrato. It is quiet, but not boring. In the bar and the restaurant in the main square you will always find people enjoying the fresh air and relaxing. It is a good location to visit the area around, Monferrato and Langhe. But, please keep in mind that you will need a car.

The room is simple and comfortable. Breakfast was generous. The village sits on a high point in the foothill region. The view from my room and especially from the glass-sided breakfast hall was stunning. Directly across from the hotel is a spectacular lookout point that is a 2 minute climb up stairs with handrails. The unobstructed 360Degree view is breathtaking. Many villages and countless vineyards. To the south the view is filled with beautiful mountain ridges.

The location is beautiful with a picturesque view. From the hotel you can see the endless valley that stretches for miles that mother's vineyard and fields of sunflower, The hotel itself is lovely providing a nice breakfast in the morning. Room was a bit small but I am sure there are other choices of bedrooms,( for one night it is good.)
