Amazing and beautiful place. Giuseppe is very kind and pleasant - he showed us the property and attended us in in breakfast and dinner. The dinner in the castel was amazing with a fair price. This is an amazing and different experience!!!

This Agroturismo is located 5 minutes by car from the beautiful village of Altomonte. Truly, the property is an astonishing place. And mainly two things make it astonishing. Firstly, the old manor farmhouse is located solitarily in the middle of nature. Cats and a friendly dog walk around on the premises. It is a charming old building in a serene setting that really decouples you from the hassles of day to day life in the city. But that happens without sacrificing fundamental comforts one is used to. My room had all amenities I needed. There was a roomy bathroom with a well functioning shower. Also my room had WiFi, a functioning air conditioning, a TV and plenty of space. I didn’t like the mattress as much, but that is a matter of taste and I was well rested nonetheless. The second point that made my stay a pleasant one are the hosts, Antonio and Margherita. Both are very warm and welcoming people who have the gift of being good hosts. They run their Agriturismo while also putting in hard work at their cattle farm. Antonio and Margherita did everything possible to make me feel welcome, at ease and cared for in an unobstrusive way. They offered me dinner that consisted of fried Tropea onion and aubergine, a pasta (they had a vegetarian pasta option also), a stew with the meat they produce and a Tiramisu. This was accompanied by a nice red wine (also produced by the hosts) and rounded off by an amaro. As for the road that leads to the house, I didn’t find it very challenging. To be fair, I had a small SUV rental car. But I think that a driver not lacking basic skills could easily manage this road in a compact car like a Fiat 500. The only issue might be, if you drive a large heavy car with an old diesel engine as it gets quite steep in some places. But with a bit of clever shifting that should be manageable nonetheless. All in all this place offers incredible value for money.

This was a magnificent hidden gem on our travels through Europe! Stunning rooms with beautiful decor, a great location in a unique hilltop town, and easy parking. The breakfast was delicious, but most of all, Maria is a wonderful host and made us feel very welcome. Highly recommended! Thank you Maria!

Design, location. Superb mix of modern, comfort and antiques. Stylish without pretension. Wonderful infinity pool. Thoughtful host full of recommendations for the area he grew up in. Love that it was his grandfathers factory.

This property was so charming and incredibly clean. We were in contact with Marlena prior to our trip with a few questions and she was so helpful upon arriving to the hotel she waited for us to arrive as our flight was late. Absolutely an incredible woman . We will recommend this property to anyone
