Anghiari is steeped in history its walls and narrow streets suddenly open to expansive vistas. Places to eat and drink are plentiful with a high standard of food and service for a relatively 'off the beaten track' settlement - food far better than Venice! There are many hill top towns/villages to visit - Poppi and Caprese Michaelangelo are stand out. Anghiari is the perfect small town to visit. The people are so friendly and helpful. The views and the sunsets are amazing. Well worth staying there for a few days. Beautiful Tuscan city on top of a hill, amazing view from the castle, the view from the side on the city is also very good. Lots of restaurants and shops but not too touristic. Nice flair and definately worth a visit (daytrip).Guest review byDabbi_Germany
