The hostess was very attentive to our needs, letting us in remotely, suggesting alternative strategies for logging on to the WiFi, providing bike storage options. Good communication throughout. The location of the property is excellent: quiet, nearby an excellent pasticcheria ( with delicious food takeaway), supermarket and pizzeria. Close to the centre to see the palazzos and museums. The apartment is AMAZING: clean, new, well thought out design, everything works, comfortable, good quality linen, great design generally and a sunny verandah, we used it for breakfast and evening drinks. We felt cherished! 5 star accomodation the best we have used in 4 weeks!

The town as a whole is nice, but there is no public transport so the connection to the beach is non-existent, but the train connection is good and in a few minutes you can get to Palermo, and in 1/2 hour you are in Cefalù, we ate in the restaurants on the seafront and the food was really good, we will be back again!

You need to take your time to discover the cultural heritage of this town, which the residents of Bagheria often overlook. Visit Palermo and its surroundings, take an evening stroll in Aspera, and enjoy some ice cream.

There is no nightlife and access to the beaches is not always easy; even with Google Maps there were times when we couldn't get where we wanted to go. The water is spectacular in some coves, but not all the beaches were nice.

A beautiful town, we visited Palazzo Butera for €2 and with a guided tour. Unfortunately, Villa Palagonia doesn't have guided tours during the week, but only on Saturdays and Sundays. We enjoyed a wonderful and delicious aperitif in Piazza del San Sepolcro.

The only factors that decided the choice of this place were the quality of accommodation in terms of price/performance ratio and location for our purposes. Suitable for tourists with a car. It is necessary to take into account the very lively traffic around Palermo. Bagheria is quieter in terms of traffic.

I stayed in Syd's house for one month and had a wonderful time in this lovely place! It really feels like home, first of all because the owners are the kindest ever and make a lot of effort to make me feel welcome in the house and in Bagheria, to make sure i got everything i need and above all they teach me about the Sicilian food and culture. Second the house is very cozy, I especially like the two parts, in the back part there is a nice relaxed vibe to get rest and the front part is next to the street to enjoy some city vibes.

Everything was just perfect: the host Michaela was very kind and helpful, the view from the apartment was amazing, the location - quite place close to Palermo. The beds were very comfortable, the kitchen was very well equipped. We had a really great Christmas there.
