The apartment is a superb for short stay at Barzio. Everything is clean and neat with beautiful surroundings. We are staying for ski at bobbio and that is very nice of the host to give us free rides to the mountain(it’s not compulsory so you may ask nicely and in advance). I wish can stay few days more if have the chance in the future.

The location and room were very beautiful. Also the people from the hotel were very kind and nice for us and our little boy. The owner Gianni and his wife were very nice and kind and we had good conversations when we saw each other. Really nice breakfast, clean room, good bed and beautiful view of the mountains and nature and lovely people who were working in the kitchen and room service. Thank you for the good time Gianni and we hope to see you and your wife again in the future ! Ciao!

An amazing house! It's truly unique and cozy, with a breathtaking view of the mountains from the window. The home has a special charm and is full of history — there's a wonderful collection of vintage cameras and binoculars. The mattresses and pillows are very comfortable, and everything you might need for your stay is provided. The surroundings are just fantastic — nearby waterfalls, plenty of scenic hiking trails, excellent local cheese dairies, and a delicious restaurant! The host, Roberto, is incredibly kind, responsive, and an interesting person. It was a real pleasure to meet him.

Location is great! From all sides there are views to mountain. Beautiful peaceful place, provides possibility to get a good rest. At the same time this place is at the reasonable distance for shopping, sightseeing area’s. The staff is very friendly, attentive and helpful. Thee food was very delicious and diverse. A very clean and welcoming B&B, run by the caring host Antonio and his wife, who have been managing the property since 2017. If we return to the Lecco area, we’ll definitely consider staying here again. A generous breakfast is thoughtfully prepared and waiting on your table each morning, served in a cozy room that overlooks the parking area with a beautiful mountain backdrop. It is a very nice and friendly town in the low Alps, not far...

It is a very nice and friendly town in the low Alps, not far from Lecco and Lake Como. Wonderful and helpful residents. When in Barzio, you need to be prepared for walks down and up and in a typical Italian style - communication in English is not necessarily easy, restaurants operate at their own rhythm. :-)

This is a small village which is right next to the gondola...

This is a small village which is right next to the gondola for Piano di Bobbio ski center, which is small and perfect for beginners. If you are with kids or adult that are learning to ski, this center is great. The Barzio village is small, and I think it's more active in summer as it's at the base of the mountain.

We were a family of 3 and arrived on Sunday night in...

We were a family of 3 and arrived on Sunday night in December for a 4 night ski break stay. Our hotel didn't have a restaurant. In the 4 days we could get nothing to eat except pizza or bread cheese and ham. The town is like a ghost town during week. On the Monday the town closes completely so only pubs open which sold toast with ham and cheese. On the other nights one or 2 restaurants opened but ONLY PIZZA no pasta no potatoes absolutely nothing else. There was one expensive sushi restaurant but 29euro per person so above our budget. Also no ski bus during week so must walk 15mins to cable car

A stunning landscape with countless opportunities for sports: hiking, mountaineering, trail running, road cycling, mountain biking, climbing... Lecco is a nearby larger town with everything you might need. Many small shops offer regional products (cheese, ham, etc.).
