This is such a lovely place. A sanctuary from Rome. The staff are very friendly and very helpful - always smiling and ready to answer one's questions. The room was just fantastic and so spacious with an excellent service.

We arrived frazzled and tired having walked an unpleasant 4 mile leg of the Via Francigena along the main road but the welcome and surroundings soothed us quickly. V friendly and hospitable and full of advice,our hostess was great.The surroundings were comfortable and peaceful too. Thank you.

The location might be about 20 minutes by car from Rome city center, but it is so beautiful that it is totally worth it if you are by car. I don’t know about public transportation, It’s very clean, everybody is very nice and polite and although you are a bit outside of the city, It’s like the countryside, very quiet and relaxing! Breakfast might be simple, but basically you have everything you need .

Very nice apartment with two bedrooms and comfortable beds, very well equipped kitchen (you can practically cook anything you want) with coffee machine and coffee provided (small thing but makes your day better 😀), bathroom was clean, everybody had a set of towels. Heating and airco was available as well. Communicative, helpful and flexible host, location although quite far from the city center, is good as the apartment is very close to train station Ottavia communicated well with the downtown of Rome. A nice pizzeria to-go right next to the train station with good prices (5-6 EUR) as well as a super equipped Conad store.

We were at Boccea to attend a wedding, the venue is stunning, the staff were very helpful and nothing was too much trouble. The hotel has charm and character, is set in beautiful quiet countryside. The restaurant was at the hotel was unfortunately closed during our stay due to building work. However there was an alternative just down the hill and it was lovely.

Good restaurant on site with another option just down the hill overlooking a lake. Staff charming, helpful and all understood English. Excellent wifi. The only reason I have said that my stay was too long was because of the extreme heat.

The property was beautiful, the staff friendly, and the local cats entertaining without being intrusive. The location was convenient to Rome (we drove ~25 minutes to a terminal train station and took the train into the city) but was very serene. The beds were not that comfortable but the sounds of nature through the open windows made for a peaceful night of sleep. We had a decent dinner at the restaurant and a delicious breakfast on the outdoor patio. While we were only there for a stop on our tour through Italy, the property had very beautiful areas designed for special events. The view of the surrounding area was breathtaking. While it was exactly what we needed at that stage of our trip, the location is somewhat secluded so there is not much else around the property.

Very good location for sightseeing outside Rome. Medieval castle complex, although our room was not in what most people would consider the castle proper, it was in a medieval period ancillary building - great big thick walls, heavy doors, wooden shutters. However very modern bathroom and good wifi. Great ambience! Ground were beautiful. Restaurant was very good, also served as breakfast room. Ample quantity, variety and quality for included breakfast with delish cappuccino. There were 2 long driveways to access castle complex, depending on which direction you came from. We used both, they were fine unlike other reports. Yes there were lots of cats outside but they didn’t try to enter buildings and added to rural ambience. Great wineries nearby, Etruscan and Roman ruins. Definitely needed more time. Lots of emphasis on farm to table cooking (or 0km, as the Italians call it) in area. Lots of staff spoke at least some English, I had a couple months with an online program so could speak a bit of Italian - no communication issues except at the pizzeria on the estate. In summer they have the largest outdoor pool I’ve ever seen.

The lack of a pool was a real drawback.

The lack of a pool was a real drawback. There's a shuttle bus from the hotel to the metro. (For a fee), all in all, it takes at least an hour to get to central Rome. Not feasible with your own car. Otherwise, it's a beautiful location with an excellent restaurant.

We arrived late! No problem at all, the staff were there when we arrived, super friendly and attentive. Very good breakfast... and best of all, a beautiful room and a very quiet location, lovely! Thank you!

The hotel is very pretty set in beautiful scenic countryside, quiet and relaxing. We were there for a wedding, it was amazing, the service was second to none. Breakfast was a buffet style, lots to choose from, friendly helpful staff and nothing was too much trouble.

The rooms were spacious and the bed comfortable. Despite having glitter on its walls, the pizza at the restaurant close by in the complex (the hotel restaurant was closed) was surprisingly good and the server very nice.

The hotel is located in a very nice, rural surrounding. No traffic, no noise. The breakfast is superb, unusual in Italy, European style, even fresh fruit is served.
