The hotel was very close to the town centre, the staff was very helpful. They even prepared packed breakfast for us as we were leaving vrry early. The room.had AC and there was a rack for clothes in the backyard. Everything was perfect. I really recommend this hotel.

Beautifull flat in a quiet and charming old house. The place is very nicely decorated and well equiped. The owner is very comminicative and helpfull so it was super easy to get in and setlle in confortably. I highly recommend it !

Il Nido was absolutely beautiful! The apartment was large, stylishly decorated, and well appointed with everything required (full kitchen, washing machine, etc). The bed was super comfortable and it was lovely and quiet. Our host Caterina and her husband were incredibly kind and helpful. We arrived after having hiked 5 hours on the VF in the pouring rain (looking like drowned rats) and they were so gracious in welcoming us to their accommodation. I absolutely recommend Il Nido - my only regret is that I didn’t stay longer.

Spent the weekend in Buonconvento with my family as I was riding l'Eroica Montalcino in late May 2025. Had a great stay at Massimiliano's place: the apartment is super-comfy and has all the perks you'd expect (even more: it could make a great base to do some long-term workation actually!). Massimiliano was a superhero-kind-of-host, always available and even going the extra mile by planning an ad hoc MTB tour for my family. Definitely recommended!

We were looking for a very Italian experience, where I got to use the little Italian language skills that I have. This was it, as not everyone spoke English, but everyone we met was friendly and very encouraging that I was at least trying to make myself understood. We had breakfast at the same bar, most mornings, (Bar sport) and by the third day the friendly owners recognised us and tried to make conversation, even though they were extremely busy. It seemed that a lot of local people also used it for breakfast. Buonconvento is a little bit off of the beaten track. We took the train from Pisa and needed to change twice to reach our destination. There was a regular train service to Siena, but to experience other medieval hill towns in the area you really need your own transport. If you enjoy walking/hiking Buonconvento is on the Via Francigena. We didnt do this but the surrounding area is beautiful. There are a few nice restaurants our favourite was La porta di sotto, but we also had take away pizza from I sapori della mia terra, which was excellent. All in all, Buonconvento is a quiet medieval town where you can truly relax. It is also an excellent base to explore Southern Tuscany.

Podere Albereto is located in a quiet area and has the most fantastic views. The accommodation is clean and has modern appliances and anything you need to cook with. There is a water tap that has the best drinking water so no need to buy bottled. The bed was comfortable and air con worked when you needed it although it was cool all the time inside. There is a pool you can use and you also have your own private area with a bbq/oven. You are 20 min from Buonconvento and you can dine at the restaurant 10 mins walk from the agrituismo if you don't want to cook. Cinzia and Giorgio are great hosts and given the opportunity, would love to stay again.

Very lovely little town with great shops and restaurants. There are a few good small hotels. We were walking the Via Francigena when we stayed here. There is also a train station in town with trains to Siena and Firenze very convenient.

Podere Cunina exceeded our expectations, so much that we readjusted the trip itinerary to enjoy an extra day at the place. In a excellent location with an unforgettable sunset, it’s a peaceful place to rest and relax from a everyday routine. The apartment is fully equipped, very clean and charming. The hospitality and cordiality of the owners Silvana, Giorgio and Marcello make the difference. We really recommend the WineTour and Cooking Class with Marcello, he is extremely kind and attentive. We hope to come back soon.

A little piece of paradise in Tuscany. The views were just amazing and the tranquility was super. Taking a morning walk via the quiet country road during sunrise in breathtaking landscape was something I will remember always. The rooms were spacious and the bed was nice to sleep in. The hosts were really friendly and helpful and everything worked really well. The breakfast was delicious with among other freshly squeezed orange juice and omelette. The location considering Siena and Val D'Orcia was really good.

Awesome view! I would like to just stay there without going anywhere. The staff (or to be more specific, the family) were very nice and helpful. They gave us tips about where to visit and can also do personalized tours, even though at the end we still rent a car from Siena. The room is just superb. The breakfast and dinner was also great. We were not so used to the very sweet Italian breakfast with cakes, so they prepare some vegetables for us sometimes. I love the view and the cats and dog there :)
