Pros:
Pros: Quirky and unique artistic community in a proper ancient medieval hill town. Extremely friendly locals, Eccentric little shops and restaurants - we had some lovely food, and some ... err ... slightly more bohemian food. Many of the properties are built right into the cliff face - everywhere you turn is photogenic in a decayed, ramshackle sort of way. Loads of gorgeous walks in good weather in the surrounding woods and hills. Cons: Out of season most of the shops and restaurants are closed - so don't expect any night life (we didn't go in the summer, when presumably it is more lively) Public car park is a steep 15-minute walk up hill from the old townGuest review byMarkUnited Kingdom
