The apartment is a really great option for anyone staying in this part of Tuscany, with it being 30 minutes from Pisa and about 45 minutes from Lucca. It has the benefit of having a fully-equipped kitchen for cooking, has a supermarket right next door for groceries, and is easy to locate off the main road, with a dedicated off-street parking space. The apartment was very comfortable for our two-night stay, with an especially comfortable bed and pillows, which you don't always get on your travels. Check-in and communicating with Valerio was also very convenient and fuss-free - he was always available to us and provided the best guidelines we have seen for a self check-in property. Thanks, Valerio!

The villa is in a good location and makes an impression. Really as a building, it makes you feel in the middle of traditional Tuscany. Surrounded by olive and vineyards. The shops are about 3 to 5 minutes by car, but the villa itself is in a quiet place. We liked that the villa is closed and you park inside. The rooms are a good size, although in the first there is a kitchen and a room, so it's good that there is a function of a folding bed, so that during the day you can use the space. The kitchen is very well equipped. In one room there is an air conditioner, which was also very helpful, especially since we were with a dog, because it was extremely hot. For the first few days we were practically alone, in the second half, there were more people, but still great comfort in terms of space and use of the pool. There are very comfortable sun loungers by the pool. The water is clean. Beautiful view from the sun loungers of the surrounding areas. Silence, peace, beautiful surroundings.

The hotel has plenty of old world charm, perched in the centre of a lovely little town. We loved it here! The pool is beautiful and clean, and was the perfect place to relax in the hot afternoons. The staff are welcoming and helpful, and the breakfast was the perfect start to our days. We loved dinner at the restaurant downstairs, and listening to music in the Piazza. We didn’t want to leave!

We stopped at this hotel on our way from Pisa to Rome. Although I've stayed at places that cost 10 times more than this hotel, I've never stayed in such a beautiful hotel room. All kinds of cleaning kits were available free of charge. The hotel was truly perfect with everything. I recommend it to everyone. It's a great place.

    This is the best place to stay if you want to rest and enjoy nature, learn about wine and olive cultive.. their wine it’s delicious( home made wine) the service is ultimate, the owners are on top of every detail to give you the best comfort.. it’s near to other famous town like Volterra were twilight movie was made! They prepared a delicious breakfast or dinner! Espacious room with kitchen too! More than happy to comback here and more than thank you! I stay with my husband,Daughter and mother-in-law.

    Our luggage was stolen in Rome the day we arrived in...

    Our luggage was stolen in Rome the day we arrived in Capannoli. We were able to find everything we needed (clothing wise) except a luggage bag, for 2 different sized woman, as well as 2 toddlers. (Yes very hard task). Food and groceries near by that had accommodated allergy food for toddler. The drive around was beautiful, traffic is relaxed and calm.
