We loved absolutely everything, such a nice facility! wonderful restaurant, beautiful beach, nice and caring staff. Spacious homes with terraces. Overall, a very private place, even during school holidays - you don’t feel like the place is overcrowded. Best resort for couples and families!

Lovely place run by the familiy. Our room was extremaly clean. This hotel has own, secure parking and the pets are allowed there without an extra charge. The location is also very convenient, close to the main view points on Capo Vaticano.

Had a family wedding in the capo Vaticano area. We chose the Santa Chiara hotel as it’s central for the Venus fir the 3 days of celebrations. It was a perfect choice. Excellent breakfasts stunning views, huge pool, friendly staff, and comfy firm beds. There was a little train that took us down and back from the beach or it’s a 20 minute walk and a lot longer walk back up a steep hill Blue seas, tavernas, Sandy beaches and calm warm waters await you.

Lovely view from large private terrace. Ease of parking ( at end of September) And many local beautiful beaches close by . Breakfast good quality And the dinner taken on site cooked by Roberto was excellent value for money. A choice for the first and second course that changed daily and contained quality local produce. Room large and comfortable.

Very nice hotel with relaxing atmosphere and perfect staff. We had a great room with seaview. Small swimming pool just by the restaurant. Funny waiters and very friendly manager (maybe owner :-) I will definitely recomend to my friends.

    great sea for snorkeling but sometimes jellyfish on Grotticelle beach (very painful for kids) - in Tropea no jellyfish and calm sea all the times. in summer has the area problems with water supply - before check-in ask the owner of the property of the state of water in the tanks (we had bad luck in July, our apartment ran out of water twice a week - very stressful) the beaches of Capo Vaticano are available by car (parking is for 1,50 Eur/hour) or on foot 20min walk downhill (but up the hill in hot weather is guite a challenge) snorkeling in this sea is like in an aquarium :-)

    The rooms were clean, nicely decorated and spacious.

    The rooms were clean, nicely decorated and spacious. The wifi and speed was amazing. The food was good. The breakfast was not entirely free as the website suggests. The lunch buffet was delicious and loved the female bartender at the snack shack by the pool who helped us. The hotel was not a 4 star as it states and the neighbourhood surrounding the hotel is poor and run down, not safe to walk around at night. There is no iron available for hotel guests. The hotel pool needs to be fixed and maintained. The tiles are missing throughout the pool and the pool has algae growing on the side tiles. The beach made up for the pool. We had to buy towels as the hotel did not supply towels for pool/beach, 10 Euros a towel at the local market. The ocean floor is rocky and slimy and its very difficult to get in. We were not prepared to deal with the rockiness of the beach and needed to buy water shoes.

    Lovey location with a great view. A very well run family vacation resort. With a beautiful pool. Staff are very friendly staff and helpful. Drinks around the pool were very nicely served and breakfast was served too! You will need a car to make the most of your stay, however the local beach is lovely with reclining chair and umbrellas provided for free.

    Location, staff, everything was great. There were alot of staff cleaning in the morning. The manager met us at the reception and welcomed us and took us straight to our rooms. We had 2 rooms for our family and they put us close together, was quite thoughtfui of them. The resort is Beautiful! Would recommend to stay here.
