The location is perfect! right between lake Como and lake Lugano with a bonus small lake 5 minutes from the location The apartment is in the castle/fortification which takes you back in time, it's simply amazing. The building is old yet inside you have all the modern amenities you might need (dish/washing machine, fully equipped kitchen etc) Plenty of free parking on the property (something rare in Italy) The co-working space exceeds expectations, it's not just a random room with a table but rather multiple rooms with different purposes which are perfectly fit for both big team events and working in quiet. No hidden fees or surprises and had cleaning supplies for dish/washing machines

The staff was honestly so sweet. We felt really welcome, she even welcomed us in Dutch!! The cottage was clean and cozy, the bed and couch were comfy. There is a great restaurant next to the cottages, this looks over Lago di Piano. It takes around 15 minutes by car to Lake Como, and 5 minutes by car to the Supermarket. Car can be parked right next to the cottage. And they actually just installed some new furniture at the porch outside! Thank you so much for this great week!!

This hotel is such a gem! The views are amazing if you get a lake view room. The rooms are comfortably sized and the decor is tasteful. Everything was super clean. The staff go above and beyond to help you with anything you may need during your stay. The value for money at this hotel is 10/10. There’s also a fantastic restaurant below the hotel which we would highly recommend. We would definitely choose to stay at this hotel again when we come back to Lake Como!

Casa Carlazzo is fantastic!

Casa Carlazzo is fantastic! We loved to stay in such a beautifully renovated and decorated place in the middle of non touristy Carlazzo. There has been put so much love and attention in making it the way it is. Stunning! The owners kept some of the special authentic details (like the glass work close to the chimney) but managed to make it a modern place at the same time, also with regards to comfort and style. We felt right at home! All necessary amenities are there; there’s a well equipped kitchen (oven, coffee machine, etc.), everything you need to relax, and outdoor space. The beds are super comfortable and it’s nice and silent, so we slept very well. The bedrooms have higher ceilings, a small balcony (with a laundry line), and one floor lower there’s a superb rooftop too! Its perfect to have dinner outside or to spend a calm day reading. You’ll love the view you have from there. All the plants and flowers make it extra sweet. About the surroundings - we went to Lake Como and Lake Lugano as they are close by. Both are gorgeous to swim and take boat trips to other villages. (For fans, you can see where The Talented Mr Ripley was filmed). And we did a few of the many hiking trails all around. They differ in level so there’s choice for everyone. Our tip is to not forget to check out the market in near town Porlezza. There are busses but it’s really much easier to get around by car. The owners are very kind and helpful. They are easy to reach and speak many languages. In short: 10/10!

A perfect starting point for excursions to Lake Lugano and...

A perfect starting point for excursions to Lake Lugano and Lake Como. There are also great hiking areas nearby, a stalactite cave, and several well-stocked supermarkets. Lake Piano is a beautiful lake surrounded by nature. The short drive to Porlezza is worthwhile for a visit to the beach, enjoying ice cream with a view of Lake Lugano, or visiting the weekly market on Saturdays.

Its location between Lake Lugano and Lake Como offers...

Its location between Lake Lugano and Lake Como offers excellent opportunities to explore both lake regions and the surrounding area by bicycle. There's a restaurant right nearby on Lake Piano. Various other restaurants and shops are also within easy reach. We were there in the off-season (March), so there was relatively little traffic and few congestion on the roads and in the towns and villages.

A very quiet, spacious and comfortable place, ideal for people wishing to avoid the crowds on the shores of Lake Como, which is nevertheless nearby (10 km). The apartment is well-equipped for preparing your own meals;

A small, quiet town, it has several restaurants, and I especially recommend La Solitaria (delicious food). Located a short distance from Lake Lugano, a bit further from Como, it's a good base for trips to Como, Lugano, and Milan.
