Adorable town with incredible views. Loved strolling at night when it seemed the entire village and all ages were out in the piazza enjoying each other. Just lovely. The apartment of Vico Pepe was comfortable, spacious, nice, clean, properly equipped >> of course with stairs going up to it and a parking lot not close. My wife and I walked the "7 stone trail" from Castelmezzano to Pietrapertosa and back!! It was an effort but worth every moment. There is just one hotel and the rest are BnBs. Comparatively this place was super comfortable. The house was spacious, with a very small kitchen (we didn't use it as we were just there for one day). There are many windows in the room and out of the bedroom window you can see the "mountains". The host was very friendly and welcomed us when we arrived.
