Amazing views and fantastic service. The location can't be beat! We were able to reserve a parking spot, which was only 5 euros for the one night, but if we didn't have parking it may have been tricky to get to. But once there it's super easy to walk around town.

This is a wonderful place to stay and explore the Salento region. Right in Castro, this is a home from home. Reminds you of Italy all your life. Immaculately kept, clean splendid building with enormous rooms. BEAUTIFUL garden space..airy and so sweet scenting. This can cater from 2 to 6 or seven people. Great kitchen and appliances. I honestly recommend it to any global traveller who wishes to explore the Salento.

The apartment is absolutely fantastic. It meets all the needs a family of four might have (I traveled with my family). The rooms are comfortable, and the air conditioning works perfectly. The kitchen and bathroom are fully equipped. The apartment also offers two terraces, one of which is a secluded space at the back of the house—perfect for enjoying meals, stargazing at night, or simply taking a cooling shower during the day. The front terrace, on the other hand, offers a breathtaking view of the sea. It’s truly magical, especially with a cup of Italian iced coffee or a glass of chilled red wine (both of which are delightful in Salento). All in all, I could go on and on about how wonderful this place is. Highly recommended to everyone!

Castro is a beautiful town, divided into 2 parts, hill top old town , 10 -15 minutes ( steep) walk to the sea. The old town is fabulous , very small and choice of good places to eat. We were happy we chose to stay in the old town as it had more atmosphere. The port is stunning, so many places to swim, no beach but lots of rocks to swim from and little stairs to get in and out of the water. You can rent umbrellas and sun beds down by the harbor, we had to as it was mid thirties temp when we were there in late July. If you have your own umbrellas it might be tricky to put them up as it is all rocks, no sand. It’s a little jewel if a town, mostly Italian locals and tourists. You won’t regret your visit!

Very beautiful and comfortable, the food is excellent. For fresh fish, I recommend Isole del Sole and the excellent Martinucci pastry shop, where you can enjoy Pasticciotti Leccesi, Rustici, and artisanal gelato.

A very pretty town with many beautiful sights and attractions to visit. Lots of restaurants within walking distance. The only problem is getting around: public transportation between towns is practically non-existent.

Everything! The kindness among the staff was extraordinary! Especially the man in the reseption (unfortunately I did not get the name) whom also was in the restaurant, was so sympathetic and kind, always a smile! The room was big with good Wi-Fi and air conditioning that worked very well. The big Terrace with the Seaview was fantastic. Parking was a plus. This is a hotel I will say gives value for money. I will definitely come back next year!

Great location in the heart of the bustling area between the old town and the marina. Nice sea views from the balcony. Hotel is a bit faded but still very charming. The staff were friendly and the breakfast was very good (including lovely fresh croissants - plain and custard filled!!).

A 10/10 is not enough to describe our experience: for us, this was better than a 5 star hotel, the ultimate B&B. It was like we met our Italian warm-hearted family, in combination with a very clean and luxurious room, and an amazing breakfast with stunning view.
