An Unforgettable Stay From the moment we arrived at Villa Egle, we were absolutely enchanted. The photos we had seen online simply did not do it justice; the villa's beauty and rich history took our breath away. Villa Egle masterfully combines historic charm with modern comforts, creating an atmosphere that is both elegant and inviting. We were lucky enough to stay in il giardino, the garden room, which was incredible. The sheer size of the suite, with its high ceilings and beautiful shuttered windows, made us feel like the royals who once inhabited the property. It was a truly majestic experience. Our host, Nico, was exceptional. His warm hospitality truly made our trip memorable. Nico shared fascinating facts about the area, provided fantastic local recommendations, and went above and beyond in helping us organize our travel plans and activities. We loved getting to know him, as he is a wonderful soul who ensured that we felt completely relaxed and welcomed throughout our stay. The facilities at Villa Egle are outstanding. Our room was immaculate and extremely comfortable, offering a cozy retreat after a day of exploration. One of the highlights was the jacuzzi, which offered stunning views of the surrounding mountains and hills. It was the perfect spot to unwind and soak in the serene landscape. Villa Egle is the epitome of a relaxing and authentic Italian getaway. We cannot wait to return and highly recommend this extraordinary villa to anyone looking for a truly special experience.

1. The area is very beautiful. We lived in the detached house with our own piece of garden, so that nobody interrupts our privacy. And at the same time we lived in the close vicinity to people, which creates a feeling of comfort and safety. 2. The house is located right near the forest, where we had short walks. 3. There is a dog on the farm. At the beginning we were a little concerned about it, because our daughter is afraid of dogs. But after a while, they become good friends and the dog Mora always accompanied us when we go to the forest. 4. The communication with the owner was good and constructive. Franca helped us with any our question and request. 5. There is a big supermarket nearby with delicious food and products, named Gala. 6. There was a small booklet with all the places and activities you can do in the area. This was really helpful.

All good, clean and super nice staff! The hotel is a mix masterpiece of wine, jazz and great food! Restaurant is a starred Michelin serving Slow Food products. The hotel is also one of the top 43 winehouses in Italy. And it provides free commuting to the Umbria Jazz concerts! Couldn’t be more happy than that! And O look forward to go there again!

The accommodation was great, for breakfast you could buy a croissant and a hot drink for €3. But it is necessary to say a day in advance. If a normal classic breakfast was also an option, then the hotel has nothing to complain about. The location of the hotel is approx. 5 minutes from the historic center. You can park on the street below the hotel or a little further. There is a cafe opposite the hotel. Food is also a piece. The hotel staff was simply amazing. Dear people.

    I loved everything. Beautiful historical building with large, clean and airy rooms and a huge, well kept garden. Nico was extremely helpful with recommendations for restaurants and activities and was kind enough to give us a complete tour of the beautiful building. 10 out of 10 plus a couple of bonus stars to Nico. Will return to this hotel in the future.
