Forget Menaggio, Belagio and others, you can spend there half day, few hours, but if for you important price and quality centrum and you want fabulous view from you're terrace, peacfull evenings with no noise at the shore of lake surrpunded bybmountains, believe me, pick this place, nice city, nice nature, real Italy...

My cousin and I had a lovely stay here, was only a 20min walk from the ferry stop, and a close walk to the restraunts. This place felt so homely with the fire place and the easy check in process sent via email. Definitely would stay here again.

HD is a very cosy place, with clean rooms and a beautiful view to the lake and the montains. The staff was very friendly and helpful, I wish to meet people like them everywhere. I recommend this hotel if you are looking for one in the north region of Como.

We spent six nights at the hotel and would deffinitely recommend it to everyone. The staff was extremly friendly and helpful, the room was spatious and very nice, and the pool area was amazing. The atmosphere is very intimate, which is would we loved. We liked the breakfast a lot, many options to choose from, including loocal produce. The hotel is just beautiful and breathtaking and Cremia itself is a really nice town - not too crowded with tourists but offers everything one wishes - beach and kiting as well as a good restaurant and amazing cocktail bar. Any everyone is just so kind.

    Dongo is not so touristy as some villages on the lake.

    Dongo is not so touristy as some villages on the lake. It feels like you are getting the real Italian experience. Plenty of Good restaurants in the town. Good transport links to travel by boat or bus to other villages. It’s easy to walk around and we enjoyed a swim from the local beach which has shade if required.

    The owners are delightful, lovely people.

    The owners are delightful, lovely people. Their hospitality is wonderful. The property is charming but a bit more run down than the photos show. The finish work is rough, the street is noisy and the smaller room needed a bit more storage space bedside and in bathroom shelves. However, if you are used to no air conditioning and no screens on windows along with barking dogs and jackhammering in the street, the charm is real. I have real mixed feelings because these people are wonderful and their breakfasts are great. But don't go expecting fine furnishings. This is roughly finished with a lot that could be improved, but a lot of good too. We rented bikes and rode around the lake and drove around too. Love this area.
