This accommodation was just in the right place and time. We enjoyed the surroundings and the nice restaurant we found in the town. The B&B we had was excellent and the trip from Dorgali was so beautiful that we had almost to stop at all the scenery stops. The location is simply stunning.
The location is simply stunning. In addition the way that the buildings have been designed to blend in with the landscape and stunning garden areas makes it a joyful place to stay. Dorgali is quite a small town, with limited places to eat.
Dorgali is quite a small town, with limited places to eat. There is not much to do in Dorgali itself. So a car is essential. There are some good value pizzerias, some bars and a couple of high quality restaurants. We had a memorable meal at Corte Barisone, some excellent food at Merula Cafferia (but were suprised by thge prices which were nearly as high as London here) and we loved our beers, apertifs and burgers at the great value Gallo Nero bar. We stayed for 2 nights and were on a budget, so we picked this place, because it was the cheapest at the moment on booking.com in Dorgali. The room was very simple, but clean. Comfortable beds. As described in the room description, the bathroom is shared, but was very clean. Beside us, no other guests were there, so we had nice and quiet time. I especially liked the little patio all rooms had. The pool is wonderful and the surroundings are so peaceful. It’s a great place for relaxation. Although not the breakfast buffet of a large hotel facility, there were many options both sweet and savoury alternatives.
