Andrea is a great host. Very kind and modest a good partner for a chat about different topics. Speaks entry level English and Italian we had no problem to understand each other. The house is charming , has got a lot of character. Breakfast was nice too. View is spectacular. It is right on the border of Liguria and Tuscany so you can see both from garden, Hills , cities and see at the end, simply beautiful Garden is lovely too, with many facilities. He served his own bio fruits, eggs, Great value for money. The house was tidy all the time, We had several different non standard requests all were fulfilled 100%. Definitely recommended!

This property is on a hill within a farm and has a great view. We arrived a bit aftet check in hours, but we were kindly welcomed. The atmosphere and decorations are great. We had heating from the floor, excellent for cold night. The service was fantastic, professional, very attentive. We got a very big room. The breakfast was a treat, you choose from a list and then enjoy the fresh produce. Very good price for the 3 of us. Probably the best stay in our week in this region.

Accommodation in the castle with everything that accommodation should have: clean room, bathroom, breakfast , great and kind staff. One more important thing, there is free movement around the castle, you can choose where you will drink wine or just talk to your loved ones, there are many places here, on the terrace along the walls on the castle. Great place to stay in a very old restructured house. Perfect Italian welcome and very clean and modern room including exceptional water-jet full-size shower. Easy-access parking and not too far from all of the attractions in Versilia and South-Liguria and 10 min drive from Fosdinovo city! Recommended!

    The location is ideal to combine a trip to Cinque Terre with some time on the local beaches, visit Luni Roman site (recommend) Carrara quarries and a day trip to Luca and or Pisa. There are some local restaurants, supermarket. EV charger was 6km away... Sarazana train station was closer

    It is extremely underrated. For the amenities you receive.

    It is extremely underrated. For the amenities you receive. It is a very well kept hotel and the staff couldn’t be better. The attached restaurant is a gem by itself but together it is magic. Thankful to have found this wonderful place and look forward to visiting again!

    We really enjoyed our stay at this authentic castle with...

    We really enjoyed our stay at this authentic castle with incredible views and overlooking/with access to the village below! The accommodations themselves were good in that you were in the castle with appropriate decor and an authentic, rustic, ancient feel. It was a really warm night, and that was the least enjoyable part of our stay. Maybe the best part was the incredible view from the ramparts of the castle and the access to explore this beautiful, historic property! It is a special place. The staff was the other standout as they were incredibly friendly and helpful and seemed to really care about the property and our experience there. We would definitely return and explore the area next time as I imagine that there are more interesting and beautiful places all around.

    We had an absolutely amazing stay! The room and the house is beautiful and has everything you need. The view is stunning and it's just a short drive to the top and Fosdinovo Castle. Everything was very clean and Andrea is a wonderful host that answers all your questions and more. We also recommend the breakfast that can be served for just a small extra fee. In short: a beautiful stay with a wonderful friendly and professional host. Definitely recommended! ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

    Great little hotel up on a hillside, stunning views over the seaside area & the Mediterranean. Terraced olive garden with pool and jacuzzi, very quiet in the beginning of July, we had the area basically for ourselves. The gem of the place is of course the starred restaurant, which you simply have to experience. Been to a number of Michelin-establishments, this was top notch.

    Beautiful unique location in the historical mountain village Fosdinovo, which has events going on every weekend. Very calm, beautiful view, charming. Even though it was small, the place had everything important and the host was very accommodating, supplied little snacks and drinks at arrival and was available for questions.

    We traveled for a dog show taking place in Carrara. We were not the only dog exhibitors at the venue. Everything was just perfect. It is no 5 star hotel, but it has everything you need and it is clean and comfortable. If I was to visit Carrara again, I would definitely stay at this place again.

    Everything was more than perfect: from communication with hotel before arriving, check-in(we had delay in our travel, but there is no problem with later time), the castle itself, the view and breakfast on the morning. I can only recommend everyone to visit and stay here.
