Gangi is a very well-kept borgo on the way to the Parco di...
Gangi is a very well-kept borgo on the way to the Parco di Madonie...it is amazingly built up on a hill with the Duomo showing from kilometres away being on the highest point of the hill. The Borgo can also be seen from the road, cut off imposingly surrounded by luscious greenery and lovely scenery. Restaurants and cafeterias are in abundance. We had a lovely dinner at the newly renovated "Baglio Tramontana" in Via Castello - highly recommended for service and food. The view from its terrace is breathtaking, if one happens to be there at sunset. Walking around Gangi means one has to master quite a number of uphills and then downroads in order to reach the main road Via Marone (where our pensione was) and Via Nazionale, leading to other major roads.Guest review byCarmenMalta
