I have been in a lot of hotels in Giardini Naxos/Taormina between 3-4 Stars. I worked for years in a 5 Star Superior Hotel in Germany. This one is the best in Sicily I have been to, without discussion. The hotel opened 2021 and is simply modern (espacially here in this zone are a lot of old and dirty hotels). The furnishing and interior is super modern, clean and made with a lot of love to details and colors. The rooms are clean, the bed really comfortable, the bath rooms made with marmor and/or stone tiles with huge showers and the climate system works perfect and fast. The morning buffet is just awesome, you find everything you want for a nice breakfast. The beach is 300-350 m away, like in front of the door. The center of Giardini Naxos with a car 3 minutes away. The team is warm hearted, funny, the whole time happy and 24/7 there for you. You can see people here loving their job and to make you feel having a good time here. There is really no point to criticize. 10/10. I will 100% come back here and book again.

It's a wonderful place to spend a wonderful time for vacation. The staff are very helpful and nice, the rooms are a good size and clean, the hotel's position is not far away from the beach and the main street with lots of restaurants. Also the place is quiet and the big garden with lots plants is gorgeous.

When you travel to Sicily you look forward to amazing architecture, history, culture, cuisine, beaches, nature, fashion, dolce vita. But at the end of the day, when you return to your accomodation tired , yet happy, it is important that you are being welcomed. We stayed in superior double room, which was nicely decorated with lot of love. Spacious double-room with big and comfy bed, lovely details, big terrace to enjoy your coffee or a glass of wine. San Giovanni hosts are amazing people, who take good care of their guests, a big THANK YOU to lovely ladies who took care that our room is always super clean and smell like strawberries , to amazing lady who served breakfast and made sure everything is fresh and tasty, to super helpful and communicative gentleman in the night reception who helped us with advices and made us feel safe and welcomed. Beach is just couple meters away, great restaurants in the vicinity, direct connection with Taormina and Catania Airport just steps away. We had a wonderful time and vacation in this hotel and we highly recommend it to all. Thank you making our stay amazing!

Giardini Naxos is a typical Sicilian tourist beachside resort with a beautiful sandy beach, many beach clubs and an abundance of bars, restaurants, cafes, gift shops etc. You can catch a local bus to the beautiful Taormina. There is also a train station if you would like to travel further afield.

Giardini is literally a 10 minutes bus ride from Taormina. Much more accessible to get around and a lot less expensive. It offers many dining options, beach (which Taormina doesn't), shopping and larger accommodations.

Alot of people do not speak english, and everything there including street sign are in ilalian. Had an excustion to the godfather on a hop on hop off bus(green) I had ordered from Get Your Guide and went 2 hours early and the direction they gave us was wrong and couldnt find the place for pick up in mountain. Had no wifi on my phone, even when i paid extra to get itWIFI on my phone. Tried to ask people but on one knew where to go. Traffic was terrible where the address was to pick up. So i ended up not making the excurion, and company is not giving me a refund. Also the rest RISTORANTE SABBIE D' ORO charged us $162.00(euro) for a 1 lobster. They stood over us until we order, couldnt speak english and the menu said 18 euros for a one lobster, thought that was a good price. Pressed us with extra stuff we did not want to order, because we could not understand them. Then we go to pay there system was down and couldnt take no visa or MC. Our bill was $350 eros. We had to go to atm machine and they charged us $75 to take money out of machine. BAD EXPERINCE!!!!!! I would suggest not to go there.

Giardini-Naxos and the surrounding towns are, however, unusually dirty, with a lot of litter scattered along the streets. The beach, on the other hand, has wonderfully clean and clear water. People are helpful. Traveling around, take time. The only rush is in traffic. If you travel by rental car, it helps to have a good map reader in the passenger seat and a calm mind. Honking is simply a part of the traffic culture. A motorcyclist may pass you on either the right or the left. Focus on the traffic is the most important thing. When choosing a rental car, you should go for one with medium power. Otherwise, it may not make it up the hills. We had a Toyota Yaris 1500 Petrol Hybrid Automatic. It was ok. An automatic gearbox makes driving easier.

Giardini Naxos is a bus ride away from Taormina. We enjoyed this quiet town, the restaurants were good, especially Trattoria da Lino. The beaches are stunning, even though they mostly have little stones, the water was clean and refreshing!

Emanuele gave us so much information to help us as we stayed like recommendations on where to visit, at what times and the best places to find certain foods. The room was clean and since we had a large car we had a garage to ourselves which was absolutely perfect. Have already recommended to family coming to Sicily in October. Thanks so much Emanuele!!

The room was very clean and tastefully decorated. Salvo was one of the best hosts we had in Sicily. He was very attentive and made sure we had everything we needed. His family was warm and welcoming. We also had a delicious meal with an unforgettable live music performance in the downstairs restaurant.

Nothing it is not a 4 star hotel . If you like overcrowded communities with very late loud music ( not me), no parking no pool, and the only think about the American breakfast was the coffee. Security very poor. Someone tried to break into our property at midnight no response from staff or security

We had an excellent time at Hotel Hellenia. It was a moment of pleasure and luxury during our road trip. The staff was very pleasant, available, and professional. We really enjoyed the private beach and the pool. It’s a beautiful place, very clean, and well located. We highly recommend it 100%.
