Just from the beginning a worm and lovely welcome. Our two rooms were clean, modern and super comfortable -one room had a balcony where we had our daily breakfast. We enjoyed the dining from there own restaurant and shopped from their tiny shop (a cooperation with other locals!!) BEST Salami ever A wakeup was the 5min. walk to the bakery. Super location to get where ever you want. It was a lovely staying -perfekt holiday

    Gorizia is an undiscovered gem in Italy, main boulevard has wide, tree-lined sidewalks, many cafes and plazas, a fascinating castle and so many churches to check out. Food has been fantastic, people are helpful and friendly. The town is just the right size, not too big/not too small.

    Gorizia ia a wonderful city to wander through on foot.

    Gorizia ia a wonderful city to wander through on foot. The older part of downtown is well kept. The downtown area offers plenty of shops and restaurants to enjoy. I think it is good for about two or three leisurely days. There are a few sites to visit and Slovenia is close by. We ate at Peperino(excellent food and an attentive staff) and La Chincaglieria(sp?)(food and wine were really good, the atmosphere was lively, the staff was friendly). Overall, I would visit again.

    Gorizia is an undiscovered gem.

    Gorizia is an undiscovered gem. It has history, shopping, restaurants and a great location adjacent to the Collio Goriziano wine region, with numerous producers of excellent wines. Mountains, forests, beach resorts and the Adriatic Sea are all within a short drive. Slovenia is right next door.

    This beautiful apartment is located in a quiet neighbourhood, less than 500m from the Gorizia city centre. It is bright and spacious, nicely furnished and well equipped with all necessities. A dedicated parking spot is just in front of the property. Ponte di Piuma and a nice park of the same name that goes along the Soca river are not far away from the property. Our host, Sabrina, was very helpful, as she communicated all of the required info, as well as responded to our inquires precisely and promptly.

    The stay was extraordinary and exceeded our expectations. The hotel is representing typical italian style with warm colors nice details, an airconditioned spacy room with perfect room service and daily change of towels and refill of cosmetic products. The breakfast was rich with all you are looking for, including eggs, sausage, cheese, several styles of croissant and great italian coffee for a good start to the day. We´ll come again soon!
