It was family run and in a leafy, quiet location with beautiful plants. Everything was well looked after. Old furniture combined with modern touches, beds very comfortable, bathroom excellent. Delicious dinner with incredible selection of wines and spirits.

A charming little town in an excellent location, especially for excursions (best done by bicycle) to Duino, Goricia, Grado, Palmanova, Cividale, Udine... and to the famous Collis wine region, also on the Slovenian side. No mass tourism, nice restaurants with very reasonable prices.

A city on a human scale, easy to walk in quiet streets, convenient and close shops, the apartment is right in the historic part close to the castle and the walls so very beautiful and with walks in the woods very close by.

I was in Gradisca for work (a theater technician on tour).

I was in Gradisca for work (a theater technician on tour). I enjoyed the food at the various restaurants I ate at, but I was a little less impressed with the difficulty finding them open after the show (which ended at 10:00 PM, a time when it's usually not that hard to find a restaurant open).

The lady at the front desk was extremely rude. Unfortunately, when you're greeted rudely, it can have a very negative impact on your stay. Hospitality and friendly manners are now a distant memory.

A small, charming town, ideally suited as a base for day trips to the Adriatic coast, Slovenia, and Croatia. The Palmanova Outlet Center is also well worth a day trip. And it's perfect for tourists who love the mountains.

A charming old town with lots of terraces and restaurants. We tried all of them, and they were all good. But the best meal was at La Ghironda. It looked like a small shop, but the food was so delicious. We've been there a few times. And the dishes are always surprisingly delicious!

The hotel is nice, the room was big enough, and the breakfast was good. The pool is a lifesaver on hot summer days, and it is quite big and long, so you can swim up and down. There is a well-known restaurant by the hotel, but unfortunately, we didn't go there. The town centre is within walking distance (15- 20 min). This is a perfect place for short or a bit longer holidays!

Nice hotel where we enjoyed an unexpected room upgrade. Dinner options a bit limited, Prosecco 8€ on the upper end, while the delicious breakfast for 12€ good value for the money. Should we come around that area of Isonzo again, we would book again but dine in the vicinity.

A cozy hotel close to the old town center, and home of Meja, a top fine dining restaurant. Easily accessible from the highway, with its own parking area. Located in a beautiful town, at the famous emerald Isonzo (Soča) river, dating back to Roman times (and beyond).
