Arriving in the steep old mountainstreets of Grassano was surprisingly nice. The men at the central place in town knew the nearby Bed & Breakfast, a wonderfull clean quiet place with a very friendly warmhearted and helpfull lady. The breakfast next morning was super!

The rooms were spacious and beautifully decorated, everything was very clean, and we had a stunning view. The breakfast was Italian-style but definitely sufficient for us. Our host Antonio was extremely friendly and gave us lots of tips and guidance about the places we wanted to visit.

Nice place to stay on a road trip around Basilicata. It is the floor part of a house from the old quarter of Garaguso, set on a narrow street. I had a Fiat Panda and I was able to get right to the building and to park it, but a bigger car should be parked in the central square, 200 m away. The property was clean and it had all the necessary amenities, it looks far better then in the photos, it is a real house, not the standard "set" for appartment rentals. The teracce is indeed impressive, with view to the valley and the country side hills. The owner, Amelia, lives next door and she is very nice and helpfull.
