I felt compelled to write this, my first review with Booking.com, such was my brilliant experience with Marco and his friends and family! I was made so welcome, and found fast friends with my hosts, who invited me to the beach with them and were gracious enough to offer to share their dinner with me. The location is definitely only for the able bodied traveller. You must leave your car and hike from the road uphill with all your things on a track to reach the cabin. It was an adventure and so very worth it. Marco has worked hard to renovate the building and has made a charming space. The view is incredible, and is perfectly located to walk a further 20 minutes up the hill to a church with astonishingly beautiful and panoramic views of the lake for sunrise. The stay at the Airbnb was very good. the communication before was fast and easy, the keys to the apartment were stored in a lockbox with a code, so very easy entry. the apartment was clean, beds super comfortable and it had everything you needed. 2 bedrooms, 3 beds, 2 singles and one double, so perfect for 4 people, small living room, kitchen and one bathroom. the view from the terrace was just breathtaking, right at the lake. I would definitely come back and stay there again.

Our apartment was spacious with beautiful natural lighting. The bedrooms were spotless with great interior design and the bathrooms were modern. The apartment was located 2 minutes from a bar, supermarket, and a ferry station. Host Sheryl was helpful and accommodating throughout our whole stay.

The apartment is well-furnished and very clean. Has amazing view and a roof terrace. The hosts are very nice and helpful. They allowed us early check-in and late check-out free of charge. When we told them the cooking pan was burnt by previous guests and we couldn’t find a pot, they brought completely new ones that same day.

Excellent customer care: reception staff were welcoming, friendly and provided great recommendations to help us plan on our stay. We’re also very responsive and attentive. Location is on the main lake-side street of Bellagio. Very charming and nice architecture. Rooms are clean and air conditioned and with good wifi. Didn’t use the spa so can’t opine on that. Everything I did use / experience was 10/10.

    Super apartment in an ideal spot for touring Lago di Como. Apartment is about 300m from the Cadenabbia ferry landing (also called the Griante ferry landing). Short walk to Villa Carlotta. Good pizzerie right next to the apartment (Pizzeria Rodrigo). With a day pass on the ferry, it was easy to get to Bellagio and Veranna and from there we also took a ferry directly to Villa Carlotta -- but beware -- the smaller ferry landings offer far fewer options for getting around the lake. With the day pass for the ferry, we were able to get back to Griante, have a rest, and get back out there for more fabulous Lago di Como sightseeing.

    Beautiful little town on the Lake Como.

    Beautiful little town on the Lake Como. Not much to do in the town itself but it’s very well connect to other towns like Bellagio, Menaggio and others. Quiet, away from tourists, perfect get away and the buzz of other towns is just a quick ferry journey away

    Location was just perfect.

    Location was just perfect. Very nice pool and cocktail area on the terrace. Room was nice with a view of the lake. Shower was slightly damaged not good. Breakfast was awful and dinner was very below average. I would recommended eating outside in some very nice restaurants nearby.

    Great location away from the tourist crowds. We hiked up to the San Martino chapel on advice from proprietors and we’re so glad we did. Stunning views. Corner grocery store had everything we needed.

    Wonderful views. Easy access to mountains and lake. Good ferry availability close by to neighbouring attracrtions.Good bus service. Se stayed right next door to a locals eat here restaurant with freshly cooked pasta, grills etc. good atmosphere. Might avoid some small bars on the water front another time..they were mixed standard.

    Poor value for money.

    Poor value for money. The hotel benefits from the stunning location it finds itself in, but the service, excluding reception and parkers, should have been at the level required for a Grand Hotel (size of room, junior staff preparation, food)

    The location, views were stunning. The staff were all lovely and friendly. Couldn’t have been more helpful and friendly. Very close to both lake boat navigation stop in Cadenabbia and also to the C10 bus just outside hotel. Hotel is family run and holds many little Italian nuances. Breakfast had a very good mix from cereals to pastries. Cold meat, Cheese, Eggs, Bread, jams, honey, marmalade, Nutella, juice and course the obligatory coffee from a brand new machine. Perfecto. Thank you for a lovely 10 day holiday.

    I had a wonderful stay at this hotel! Everything was excellent: the service was top-notch, the rooms were very clean, and the kitchen was well-equipped. All the necessary amenities for a comfortable stay were provided. The hosts were incredibly kind and responsive, always ready to help with anything we needed. I highly recommend this place to anyone looking for a cozy and well-managed accommodation. Would definitely come back!
