Beautiful hotel with much attention to detail. Extra nice linen sheets. Nice Bvlgari toiletries and extra nice touch with robe and bath slippers. Bathtub ring needs a little attention in cleaning, but otherwise EVERYTHING was great. Nice breakfast served in front of fire place in the lobby and super location close to city center.

Gorgeous property with a well-established garden that makes it such a beautiful setting for meals! The building gives off authentic Italian home vibes - everything inside made us feel like we stepped into a movie set in Italy! The best thing about it was the staff and the FOOD!! Homemade, authentic, just incredible! Their mushroom pasta was the most delicious dish we had in Italy on our trip.

The place was 10' away from CIA airport. Alessandro informed us after the reservation that without a car it is quite difficult to reach the property (actually it was difficult even with a car during the night, so drive slowly when arriving at the destination otherwise if you do not enter the property and pass it, you should do extra 2-3 km). The host was waiting for us and he accompanied us to the house. We had croissants and coffee for breakfast and he saw us off despite our early departure at 4:30 am.

Borgo Castell Savelli is a very nice place to stay. It is out of Rome at Grottaferreta however it is easy to reach from city. Region is very green. If you like a quite place Borgo Castell Savelli is where you should stay. Room was well decorated, all the furnitures were new and functional, had a kitchen with all the stuff, cutlery etc., had a balcony where you can sit, eat an relax. Room was very clean and was being cleaned everyday. All management team were very nice people. Specially Sara helped and guided us about using public trasnportation options. Grottaferrata is also nice place to visit and do daily shopping which you can access in 20-25 minutes by walk. As a summary; Borgo Castell Savelli is more than perfect place to stay.

    We need a car.

    We need a car. The towns, sites and restaurants were excellent. We loved staying at the Tenuta Cusamano. We enjoyed touring the nature/archaelogical site of Tuscolum over the weekend when the ruins are open to the public. we did not see another American in 5 days.

    Grottaferrata is a very small town.

    Grottaferrata is a very small town. I was there for work but I had time to walk around and see a bit. There is the Monastery of Santa Maria that dates back to 1024 with a beautiful church inside that is worth a visit. There is a museum but it was closed when I visited. I thought I would have a harder time finding parking but it wasn't too bad. For a great meal try La Casina del Buon Gusto. The chef's specialty was buonissimo and the prices are excellent. Avoid the Ristorante da Leo. Overpriced and not very good. There is a Fresco Market grocery store within walking distance of the downtown area which has just about everything, including American Hershey's for some reason!

    This hotel stood out as the jewel in the crown of our 18 hotel Europe tour. Maurizio is a perfect host and gave us great tips and advice for our onward journey. The bedroom and bathroom were very comfortable and we had a terrific balcony overlooking the gorgeous countryside. The swimming pool area was lovely too. We especially enjoyed the restaurant recommended by Maurizio in the town. Breakfast was delicious sat outside in the sunshine. My motorcycle was parked safely in the hotel grounds overnight.

    Allocated a room overlooking Rome in the main building. Not sure that the other (annex) accommodation would be so acceptable. Beautiful main building with a very interesting interior ( frescos etc.,). Lots of character and charm, Quiet location, comfortable good size room. From our experience the hotel does seem to cater particularly for groups - 1 group of French and 1 group of Indian nationality). Would certainly consider staying again, as a base outside the hustle of Rome itself.

    I was fascinated by everything related with my stay in the residence! This place joins the best thing that can proposed an apartment and a hotel: everyday cleaning and everyday change of towels, a well-equipped kitchen, a free parking, fast Wi-Fi. As well, a bus stop is about 5 minutes by foot so 20 minutes and one gets to the metro station Anagnina. So, for any next trip to this area I will, certainly, book this Residence again
