We loved that this was a small boutique hotel but the gardens and pool area were large and relaxing with a fabulous view of the mountain. And staying here felt very much like home with all management and staff providing exceptional and very friendly, helpful service. Our room was very clean with a wonderful view of the ocean, a great place to watch the sunset! Breakfast was very tasty with lots of options in a wonderful setting in the garden.

Our experience at this hotel was excellent. The staff was very polite, smiling and willing to help us in everything (as a bonus they also speak English which, believe me, is rare in Italy). Our room was clean, bright, spacious and renovated with handmade local hand-painted tiles. The real poem was the balcony with a superb sea and mountain view, equipped with sunbeds. The breakfast was neat and well prepared, with their own jams and cakes. There is a free parking space included but there is a bus stop just in front of the hotel. The pool with the thermal water was very relaxing, although it would be nice to have a small renovation in the future.

Salvatore was the most amazing host. Warm, friendly, attentive and so helpful. He made our stay stress free, fun and relaxed and was always on hand with recommendations and advice. And made the best limoncello spritz I've ever had. The hotel is gorgeous and relaxing with a view to die for and the most delicious breakfast.

We had the most wonderful stay at Hotel Angelino. Couldn't recommend it more! The location of the hotel is on the beach, Maronti Beach, very nice. There is a very nice restaurant at the back of the hotel, and you can reach Sant Angelo and other locations very easily. All is very clean, our room was cleaned every day and the staff was so lovely, giving us a lot of tips around. We can not wait to come back!

This hotel was great. Beautiful views from our balcony, spacious and well equipped rooms. Breakfast was delicious and served on the terrace over looking the sea. Christian was a great host and recommended a great pizzeria for dinner.

This place is a slice of paradise. It was so beautiful. Our room was so spacious and clean. Our views were out of this world. The restaurant was delicious and all the staff were so attentive even when very busy. This is a 3star but i definatley would give it 4stars . We will be back.

    Ischia is a great island for vacation - there are many sandy beaches, spectacular views, a lot of greenery and of course delicious food. It is not difficult to go around the island by car. The roads are narrow and with many turns, and many people are driving motorbikes which makes driving difficult but you can survive:) People are very friendly and calm. The food is amazing, especially pasta in any form! The island is easy to reach - the are ferries from Naples, about an hour from there. Highly recommend Ischia to visit!

    This is just a wonderful place.

    This is just a wonderful place. We were there in August which should be high season but it wasn't too crowded. You of course have to have some tourism so that restaurants and shopping will thrive and for us this is just the perfect balance. Not too many people "in your way" but still enough to have a variety of restaurants, shops and all sorts of services. We will 100% be returning to Ischia... most likely more than once and more than twice.

    Visiting Ischai with a car was challenging.

    Visiting Ischai with a car was challenging. We pre booked the Ferry but still needed to exchange our reservation for a ticket. We struggled to locate the ticket office at the port and we couldn't get a ticket for both crossings and was only issued a ticket for the single journey so we needed to locate the ticket office both in our outbound and inbound journey which was a pain. Reversing the car onto the car ferry was also challenging. The Island is a little grubby, the architecture is in poor repair and the roads are challenging. Some of the people were friendly but in general we found the people a little rude and ignorant. Driving was also quite challenging with other drivers being very aggressive. The beaches were a little hit and miss. The beaches in the towns were busy and crowded with locals, if you moved out beyond towns you can find less crowded beaches but with basic facilities. The Island is very hilly and it was too difficult to walk anywhere we needed a car but you can hire scooters very easily on the Island. The food options were very good with Excellent Pizza - We recommend Bar Franco in Lacco Amenco it was one of the highlights our our trip - we went back twice in 4 days.

    Amazing island! Each town has its own vibe.

    Amazing island! Each town has its own vibe. Beaches are so nice, water is beautiful and the people are wonderful. So many restaurants, stores and activities to do. Some of what we enjoyed was La Mortella Gardens, Negombo Thermal Spa, Argoneae Castle (being bathing suits and swim right in front of the castle; make sure to read the sign about the secret that this swimming area offers- so cool). Book a boat day with West Coast Ischia - best day of our trip. Wish we stayed longer! Book

    I really like Ischia, this is my third time there.

    I really like Ischia, this is my third time there. The food is fantastic, the people, it is not pricey but still scenery as Amalfi for an example. The Ischia offers a lot, there are festivals, nightlife, beaches, tours, you can not be bored. There is a buses a lot, you do not need a car, or you can rent a e-bike to explore the island.

    Great for the thermal water baths and being not completely touristy. Can use local busses to get around. Great food. Sant Angelo, Castello Aragonese, Giardini Mortella etc are fun. However prepare for missing sidewalks. Also Capri is only a short ship ride away.

    We loved it all, the hotel, the outside pool, the location, is close to the beach, you can go to Cava dell Isola, wich is the nicest beach we've been to!! You have plenty of restaurants close to the hotel! The breakfast was very nice too, with both salty and sweet food! For dinner and for the price you pay, I would rather recommend to skip it and go try the restaurants nearby. For the location,at first we worried because is far from Ischia Porto,but trust me, this side of the island is more quiet and virgin. Here we saw the nicest sunsets!

    The hotel is in the good location around 20min walking from ischia port, castle is only 10min walk from hotel, there are also several restaurants and lot of shops arround. Hotel is offering welcome drink on the top roof restaurant and good dinner with discount. The food, atmosphere and view was great. There is also privat spa and different spa treatments and outsite swimming pool. The bus stop to the port is less then 5min walk. Staff in the hotel is very friendly and supportive.

    Overall we really liked Hotel Casa Adolfo. The location was great just near Cava Grado bus station which was really good as we didn’t have a car. The hotel has great vibes, and the views were beautiful. Our room and communal spaces were also very comfortable and clean. The breakfast was really good quality and with a nice choice of savory and sweet options. Everybody was really nice and we had a great time in Ischia.

    Just everything! I only planned one night on ischia but then chose to extendy stay! Great room, Great pool Great spa Great staff Honestly I've not expected this and can only recommend this hotel. You're close to the harbour and the ferries, the bus station and the old town. The "library" at the reception is also worth mentioning, maybe you'll find my souvenir inside a book

    The facilities of this house and the helpful host made you feel like home. The location was very good, around 10 min away (on foot) from Ischia Ponte and Aragonese Castle and as well as about 25 min away (on foot) by Ischia Porto. Near the house there were bus stations to help you explore the Island. I am waiting forward to going again!
