BelgiumIt’s actually a pretty small apartment but everything what you need is there. It’s amazing how well thought over the whole apartment is in space versus practicability and living quality. You don’t have to worry about checking in as they work with a keylocker. Concerning the review of my German fellow traveller I strongly disagree. Yes, there is a metal gate that leads to the courtyard but it’s your private entry before you reach your own apartment not a communal gate. You can close it without banging the door. The location is about 250 meters from the lake. We parked trice and always found place within 150 meters.

United KingdomInside space was beautiful and the terrace outside was a lovely space to spend time relaxing. Centre was a 10 minute walk through some shortcuts which was great and saved taking the car. There was plenty of parking spaces. Would definitely stay again.

Iseo town is very pretty with lots of restaurants and shops plus a wonderful lakeside position. Lago d’Iseo is very beautiful with spectacular boat trips available. Iseo is a beautiful vibrant community on Lago Iseo. You can explore the area by boat, train or by car. There are many beautiful towns nearby to visit. The community is quite friendly to travelers and very safe. We enjoyed walking in and around town exploring as much as we had time to do. It is very historic and well kept!! On Sunday after mass at the historic church named San Adrea (St. Andrew) we walked into the downtown next to Lake Iseo and enjoyed the excitement of a Sunday Market. Afterwords we enjoyed an Apertivo and lunch at a lakefront cafe. Iseo is an excellent town to visit for a day or a month!! Spotlessly clean with no litter in sight. Iseo is compact, atmospheric and picturesque. We had a couple of nice and reasonably priced meals at Il Bruco by the lake and an enormous take-away pizza from Forno Di Porta Del Campo. Even though the weather wasn't great for part of our stay, the central location of the apartment meant we could come and go as and when the rain stopped and it was never too far to nip back if we needed an extra layer or something.Guest review byPeterUnited Kingdom - 10.0
Iseo is more than you can imagine.
Iseo is more than you can imagine. I looked on Google maps, researched as I could but nothing matches being there. From the internet I got the sense there was perhaps five restaurants and a few small shops but there is many, many more. A ferry is available to take you to the islands and to other locations around lake Iseo. But wait, there are many walking trails and the landscape of the usual roads is really amazing. I can easily see a visit to this region for a week, ten days or more. We had Italian speaking friends in Iseo so that made it easier for us English gringos haha. We spent two wonderful days, went through the lake with a car, took a boat from Salzano to Monte Isola, then we stopped at several villages by the lake. Evening at ISEO center was fantastic. Eat at Leon D'Oro highly recommended restaurant, food was very good, deserts were to die for. In fact we went there on both evenings. The staff were very helpful and friendly. Pleasant lakeside town from which ferries go to lovely Monte Isola and other villages on the lake. Parking is tricky and we couldn't find anywhere to leave the car for the day to take a ferry to Lovere in the north of the lake. Ferries are very reasonable. Friday market is mostly clothes but some fresh local produce too. Tourist info was shut (mid September) as were some restaurants and shops. The national nature reserve Sebino is a tranquil and beautiful wetland with boardwalks and hydes .We enjoyed walking part of the Via Valeriana trail out of Zone and a trip to see the Piramidi di Zone, extraordinary morainic pillars left after the last ice age.Guest review byHilaryUnited Kingdom
