I loved the village, just amazing how it was restored. I asked Anne and she explained it to me, thank you! It was spotless and the bed was very comfortable. The surroundings were that of an ancient building and I am flabbergasted how they managed to renovate and rejuvenate this and other buildings. the view from my room to the lake and hills was amazing! Anne was a wonderful host and the breakfast was divine (I ate way too much of her freshly baked cakes and home made condiments). She had lit a fire and it was cosy. There was a heater in the room, nice hidden lights and the kitchen design was stunning. Anne was very patient and helpful with my questions re wifi and the village’s restauration. Her place is right next door to a nice Osteria and it was quiet and peaceful in the village.

I stayed in the hotel with my family for one night (19.07.-20.07.2024), I could have stayed longer if I had known how cool this place is and the vacation would have been longer. The hotel has magnificent, breathtaking views across the valley in two directions. Breakfast is classic Italian, as it should be. The coffee tasted good and the views from the breakfast terrace were fantastic. There are several places to eat dinner and a supermarket within a short drive. A good bonus is the pool where you can cool off from the hot summer weather. The manager is a very friendly and very positive person.☀️ Thank you!🙏 I definitely recommend this place.

First and foremost this place is in a great location in walking distance of the cascate. We were unsure at first as it's close to the road but the rooms were double glazed so we slept soundly. Everything about the room was quality, from the furniture to the fixtures and fittings. All felt new, well maintained and very clean. Topped off by the friendly hosts who offered lots of useful local advice.

I felt like I was in an ancient place; the entire village has been beautifully restored. You can easily explore the entire village on foot. I ate at the "Radici" restaurant in Labro, which was excellent.

Labro is a beautifully preserved village. It's a little gem, worth a stroll. Spending a few days in Labro allows you to regain the serenity and peace that daily life inevitably strips away.

A truly enchanting place, worth a visit if you're in the...

A truly enchanting place, worth a visit if you're in the area. You arrive in a small parking lot below the castle and then walk up, up many steps and stone alleys, but every alley offers glimpses and views of the valley below, including Lake Piediluco. There are also a few places to dine, but reservations are required to avoid disappointment.

A tiny, preserved and restored village perched on a small hill above Piediluco. A stroll through Labro, among its renovated old houses, alleys, and stairways, takes little time and is highly evocative.

The location and views were excellent and memorable. We were on a medieval village made up entirely of stone, perched on top of a mountain. The scenery and view of the lake and the surrounding mountains was exceptional. The hotel was an old house refurbished into a hotel. Very comfortable and pleasant. We found the experience of travelling all the way up and down a mountain simply 'cool' and the surrounding areas/regions around Labro is also worth visiting. Highly recommended.

Absolutely charming place in a set of medieval stone houses that were carefully restored by a Flemish architect, whose wife runs the hotel. Great breakfast, some nice restaurants in town ... Do stop there if you are in the area!. We took a 2 day break on the Via Francesco from Rome to Assisi there and it was a great choice!

Beautiful and unique accommodation in the amazing hilltop town of Labro. The spaces have been renovated in a minimalist calm and relaxing style. Think white walls, ceilings and floors yet retaining its traditional style from the past. Great breakfast also . Room with a lake view. Superb. Would love to come back.

The room and overall hotel was very charming and beautiful! Room was spacious and had a gorgeous view of the lake. The town was very cool to walk around and visit. Very clean and quiet. Breakfast was delicious and staff was kind.
