Small extraordinary hotel on the hill in the middle of apple plantation and vineyard. Beuatiful view from room. Comfortable bed, all you need you can find in the room. Breakfast was perceft, selection very wide and delicious. Breakfast room with conection of old wooden and new modern style is excellent plus view results with very postive feedback and wish to you see you also next time.

the breakfast was amazing, but we didn't like the dinner a lot, the hotel is specific for relaxation, the location is amazing and the concept is amazing I respect this a lot. the cable idea and view from the room are perfect. we suggest extending the wifi to 12 because there is no cellular service on the mountaintop, and the location was a little bit far, 2 hours drive to lakes, but it was worth it. north Italy was amazing! for relaxing hiking spas etc, this hotel is fit and worth it.

Super large, very comfortable rooms with a large balcony facing mountains. The staff was very friendly, accommodative. The garden and pool area is absolutely lovely: a big lawn, enough chairs for everyone, trees, plants, shrubs, blooming flowers everywhere. The pool is a natural pool and feels like swimming in a lake. Everything is done with utter care and a lot of taste.

Just a lovely, friendly pension in one of the loveliest towns in Alto Adige. We were staying in Bolzano and going to a concert in nearby Lana (one of many for the season) that finished too late to catch the train back - so we stayed at Hilpold. It was a great decision. We had a superb room with a wonderful view, the breakfast was excellent and the proprietress was so friendly and accomodating. We'll definitely be back!

    It's close to Merano (which is much better known and visited), and also fairly touristy, but with the businesses aimed more at cultured tourists rather than mass tourism (not sure if there were any chain hotels there), interested in arts and finer dining. I landed there by very lucky accident (due to problems booking a room in Merano).

    Almost perfect place for stay! Very clean, minimalistic but still cozy and comfortable, free parking spaces. All the rooms are well thought out and comfortable, I can really see that the owners of the hotel are concerned that everything is good quality and usable. The only thing I would like is a quiet terrace with a view of the beautiful mountains nearby, but perhaps it is available in more expensive apartments.

    The view to the valley is wonderful. We liked the athmosphere around the house; apple trees everywhere and there is a garden where vegetables and herbs are growing. It's quiet but not remote; in about 10 minutes you reach Lana centre. The surrounding offers lots of things to do; for example hiking, visiting waterfalls, biking, swimming, visiting cities and towns like Lana, Merano and Bolzano.

    excellent quality and quantity of breakfast, everything you need to start a perfect day. The entire hotel seemed to be newly renovated, incl. stylish bathroom. Mrs Braun and her team were extremely friendly and supportive. Beautiful garden with swimming pool. Will certainly come back when being in the region again.
