Lenno is a great place to stay for those, who are looking for more calm place as Varenna or Bellagio. You can find here a hotspot - Villa del Balbianello and there is a good ferry connection to the "golden triangle" of the lake Como - Bellagio, Varenna, Menaggio. Villa de Balbianello was a hit with our daughter (a Star wars fan) Lenno lakeshore is attractive, with a nice range of cafe/ restaurants - and a very popular ice cream parlour! Good ferry service to Bellagio, Como and other destinations on the Lake. Good (but hilly) walks in the area - Komoot has a number of options for this. We have been before so knew Lenno well. We were there in the summer and it is a totally different experience with cafes, markets and busy! This time we were there in winter so do realise that alot is closed and ferries limited. Lenno is a really lovely small town on Lake Como. It has a great beach for swimming in the lake. It is less busy than the bigger towns so is definitely for people who are looking for more of a relaxing holiday & less of a party vibe holiday. It was a great location to explore other parts of the lake via regular boats - not as busy as other places, which was perfect for us, except when visiting day trips arrive to see Villa Balbianello - definitely worth the visit, it’s not open on Monday and Wednesdays. As is Villa Carlotta….a 10 min boat ride away. Lenno also has great restaurants, good mix of local cuisine, and varying prices depending on your budget. The Geenway is a lovely walk to do, hilly in parts but not too bad if you take it slow, takes you through some beautiful places to stop and rest/take pictures. We traveled around a lot of the lake and Lenno was our favourite - definitely recommend a short stay or use as a base to see other places…..no need for a car, the boats or busses are easier to get around, streets are narrow and not many parking spaces.Guest review byLizUnited Kingdom

Room was very clean and tidy. There was electric towel heater so we could dry clothes. Breakfast was "english" breakfast style + some desserts. The coffee was served individually by the waiter and was very good taste. The restaurant of the hotel was also very good. Meals were tasty and fresh. Room was good soundproof.
