The location was great, near lake Como and several great local cafes and restaurants. The room was very clean, with a good shower and comfortable bed. We would recommend. The owners are very friendly and helpful.

Hosts were exceptional...they go beyond to care for their guests. We had car problems and they were very understanding and accommodating ! Wished we had more time at this wonderful accommodation, to further experience it's fabulous onsite restaurant and private beach across the street with beautiful mountain views overlooking Bellagio. Highly recommend...do yourself a favor book this Guesthouse to boost your Lake Como experience !!

The owners had everything prepared to us, the place felt luxurious and is beautifully located. Very easy acces via trainstation (road up on hill). There is a small baker nearby with some nice goodies. We had a amazing stay, grazie!

The apartment has a great standard and is very cozy and nicely decorated. The location is fantastic – right by the lake. Next to the apartment there is a pier where you can take a ferry to Bellagio. The train station is only a 5-minute walk away. We will definitely come back!

Great appartement, at a great location. Spacious, very well equiped. 150m from the Como-lake, with benches, trees, and opportunity to swim (bring good footwear for the beach/water) and some breathtaking views. Some nice restaurants and small supermarket closeby. Lierna is a small village, but beautifully located at the lake. Ferry connection to Bellagio, and from there many other destinations. Also small beach at 10 min walk. Great place and location to stay for a few days!

The apartment is located in a beautiful old house, it is completely renovated with a lovely terrace overlooking the yard and a beautiful view from the upper bedroom to the lake. There is everything you need even for a longer stay - a hair dryer, coffee maker, iron, extra blankets, oven, dishwasher, coffee, tea, jams, there was even pasta😄. the town is quiet and peaceful with one small market in the area, ideal as a base for trips around the area. I spent 3 days there with friends and we were delighted:)

La Corte Della Carla was the perfect place from which to explore Lierna and Lake Como. The house itself was fully equipped with everything we needed, very comfortable, and the air conditioning provided a welcome reprieve from the occasionally sweltering heat. The host, Ivana, was beyond lovely and made certain that we were comfortable (including driving us from the Piazza when we arrived). We hope to return someday!!!

Adorable town, friendly people and the staff at the Amico...

Adorable town, friendly people and the staff at the Amico Market were patient with my Italian and super helpful!!! It's not as well known as Como, Varenna (its neighbor up the road) or Bellagio but we loved the quaint, quiet charm. Highly recommend staying here, preferably in town close to the lake vs. up on the hill!

Lierna is a small quiet town on lake Como.

Lierna is a small quiet town on lake Como. It has a few restaurants and shops including an amazing gelato shop who do the best coconut ice cream. There is a beautiful part of the lake where you can swim (accompanied by ducks) with a pebbly beach. The train service to other parts of the lake is a great way to see other towns located on the lake or further if you prefer not to drive. Would love to return to Lierna again one day.

I recently stayed at this apartment and was thoroughly...

I recently stayed at this apartment and was thoroughly impressed. The place is even more beautiful in person, with a truly astonishing view. Public transport is easily accessible from the location, making commuting a breeze. The apartment was clean and surprisingly more spacious than the photos indicated. Highly recommended for anyone looking for a great stay!

Wonderful area of the lake that has a less touristic feel...

Wonderful area of the lake that has a less touristic feel and is less busy than the other areas we visited. Many places to swim, including a larger “beach” with bar that serves takeaway drinks to enjoy near the water. Local cafes and restaurants and easy train and ferry access to other parts of the lake. People we encountered were very welcoming and friendly.

Lierna itself was more authentic & less touristic than other...

Lierna itself was more authentic & less touristic than other towns around the lake but was a perfect spot for day trips by ferry around the lake - or a quick 10 minute drive up the road to Varenna. There was a good little supermarket in the village - with a friendly lady who spoke English - though the big Iperal supermarket at Mandello was only 10 minutes drive away. There were a number of restaurants in town & we had a great meal at Sottovento which was clearly very popular with the locals.

Fabulous location with double aspect windows from the large lounge and a balcony looking over Lake Como. Immaculately clean with comfortable beds. Direct access to the beach and great local restaurant across the road (Il Crotto). Perfect location for exploring the area with a short walk into Lierna with direct train to Varenna where there are frequent boat links across the lake. Good local hikes with great views of the lake on the Sentiero del Viandate

The host was super nice and helpful, even picked us up from the train station. The rooms are spacious, clean, and equipped with everything you may need. If you prefer you can even cook in the kitchen, since it has every tools for preparing a dish. Lierna is such a nice place to stay, easy to reach by train, you can visit every town around Lake Como without much complications. Balcony and the view is another huge advantage of the apartment.

Absolutely everything. The hosts were just lovely. The location was absolutely wonderful with a spectacular view of the lake, right beside a selection of lovely restaurants in the beautiful village of Lierna and my favourite part. The incredibly clean and beautiful pool which was cleaned everyday and kept immaculate. What an amazing view we had whilst we took a lovely swim. Thank you to both our wonderful hosts, we will be returning!

The property is beautiful, in a quiet location amongst well cared for houses. Very friendly and welcoming location. The facilities are very good, very well catered for and thought out accommodation suitable for short or long stays. Would suit visitors with transport as there is ample parking. Lierna is a wonderful port and a visit to L’ulivo will not disappoint. Exceptionally spacious and relaxing.

Had a great stay! The house was very atmospheric and full of character. Leena and Marliena were incredibly friendly and welcoming, always ready to help and recommend places to visit. Great location in the center of Lierna. Breakfast was beautifully served and very tasty.
