Beautiful view from main bedroom. Newly renovated, small but still fit 5 adults, tastefully decorated and well equipped. Great bathroom and great kitchen. There was off street parking for a skilled driver. Owner was very responsive.

The apartment is located in a beautiful old house, it is completely renovated with a lovely terrace overlooking the yard and a beautiful view from the upper bedroom to the lake. There is everything you need even for a longer stay - a hair dryer, coffee maker, iron, extra blankets, oven, dishwasher, coffee, tea, jams, there was even pasta😄. the town is quiet and peaceful with one small market in the area, ideal as a base for trips around the area. I spent 3 days there with friends and we were delighted:)

Adorable town, friendly people and the staff at the Amico...

Adorable town, friendly people and the staff at the Amico Market were patient with my Italian and super helpful!!! It's not as well known as Como, Varenna (its neighbor up the road) or Bellagio but we loved the quaint, quiet charm. Highly recommend staying here, preferably in town close to the lake vs. up on the hill!

Lierna is a small quiet town on lake Como.

Lierna is a small quiet town on lake Como. It has a few restaurants and shops including an amazing gelato shop who do the best coconut ice cream. There is a beautiful part of the lake where you can swim (accompanied by ducks) with a pebbly beach. The train service to other parts of the lake is a great way to see other towns located on the lake or further if you prefer not to drive. Would love to return to Lierna again one day.

I recently stayed at this apartment and was thoroughly impressed. The place is even more beautiful in person, with a truly astonishing view. Public transport is easily accessible from the location, making commuting a breeze. The apartment was clean and surprisingly more spacious than the photos indicated. Highly recommended for anyone looking for a great stay!

Wonderful area of the lake that has a less touristic feel...

Wonderful area of the lake that has a less touristic feel and is less busy than the other areas we visited. Many places to swim, including a larger “beach” with bar that serves takeaway drinks to enjoy near the water. Local cafes and restaurants and easy train and ferry access to other parts of the lake. People we encountered were very welcoming and friendly.

Lierna itself was more authentic & less touristic than other towns around the lake but was a perfect spot for day trips by ferry around the lake - or a quick 10 minute drive up the road to Varenna. There was a good little supermarket in the village - with a friendly lady who spoke English - though the big Iperal supermarket at Mandello was only 10 minutes drive away. There were a number of restaurants in town & we had a great meal at Sottovento which was clearly very popular with the locals.

Lierna is well connected to all the most renowned and mass-tourist destinations, yet it respectfully distances itself from them. I enjoyed the gracious kindness of the locals, the relaxed village atmosphere that revolves around the village bar, the calm atmosphere, and the silence, which was exactly what I was looking for on the lake.

The Town of Lierna is a perfect spot to relax and renew energy in. A lot of great restaurants and activity on a decent price. The view is amazing and people are friendly. This hidden gem of Italy is perfect for friends how want to relax, enjoy good food and go around the area on easy activities. The House is big with newly renovated rooms and air conditioning in all rooms. We were five friends that came and stayed for a week, we would recommend this house to groups that want to relax and enjoy all the best Italy has to offer.

Villa Laura is truly a magical place. If you really care about small details and a cozy warm environment - then this is a place for you! It is owned by the most caring and loving family and they truly go all the way to make you feel most welcomed and comfortable during your stay. Breakfast is excellent with great Cappuccino and fresh fruits every morning. Lierna overall is a really cute small village and Villa Laura is very close to lake Como. Definitely looking forward to visiting this fairy tale of a place again :)

Amazing location right on the lake shore ... we could have spent hours just listening to the wash of the waters and watching the view! We loved having own own terrace ... which you could swim from! The apartment was comfortable and well equipped, and Lierna felt like a small, friendly, lived in village with all necessary services. Hosts were friendly and available. Would definitely try to book again if passing this way in the future.

The accommodation was very cozy. The hosts gave us a warm welcome and they helped us with any question, and gave us recommendations about the attractions and restaurants. They had a friendly cat and a cute dog as well which made the stay more cozy. The accommodation was close to the railway station but don't rush to go to other villages, first look around Lierna which has a wonderful atmosphere. We definitely go back.
