Everything was lovely. The structure is a very well kept, beautifully refurbished old farmhouse with lots of original features. The hosts were very friendly and helpful and the very good food was either produced by the hosts themselves or acquired locally.

The apartment was spotless and well equipped. It is quiet and overlooks a field and has secure parking. It is in easy walking distance of pizzerias, gelateria and restaurants and a short drive to 3 supermarkets, more restaurants and a wonderful dolciaria. Altedo is perfectly placed to explore the Emilia-Romagna region. It is half way between Bologna and Ferrara, each a half hour or less drive away. It is in easy driving distance of Modena, Cremona, Mantua, Verona, Padua, Ravenna and the charming coastal canal towns of Chioggio and Comacchio. From Ravenna it is a short drive to San Marino, an independent hill state in the heart of Italy. We would like to thank Fabio for being such a helpful, kind and generous host, he even found a nurse to dress a deep cut on my wife’s hand.

Great pick on our trip around Italy. Very nice, clean room, it is visible that the owner is taking a very good care of the place. Breakfast were nice, served in winter garden by the host, parking available right next to the house. Great for short term stay.

The owner was very very quick to answer to my messages and happy to help me. The check-in and check-out is very clearly and easy explained, the apartment is super clean and tidy, is very confortable and cozy, is designed with everything you need for a short or long stay. We spend one night here as a road stop to Milan airport. The place is in the countryside, but not difficult to find if you just follow the instructions of the hotel. The rooms are nice clean and quiet at night. The food here is definitely a highlight! The dinner at the hotel restaurant is really good!! The food was fresh and delicious, and we see a lot of elegant old people also dine here, looks like they frequent here a lot, which is a good indicator for a nice restaurant. The breakfast was also surprisingly good! The hotel offers self-made products that are super fresh and delicious.
