Maranza is perfectly placed if you want a lot of family-...
Maranza is perfectly placed if you want a lot of family-friendly slopes. Most of the nights, we ate at our accommodation (Hauslerhof), as they do hot food from 18:30 to 20:30. There is a free ski bus that runs every hour, apart from the pretty long lunch break. Across from our accommodation, there is an amazing bakery. There are only a couple of small grocery shops in the village, however, if you want a supermarket you can just take the gondola to Rio di Pusteria. Some of the hotels, including ours, have some sort of reciprocal agreement with the Alpinpool, and you get an entrance ticket for just 2 euros.Guest review byHannaUnited Kingdom - 10.0

The whole region is really nice for hiking and family trips.
The whole region is really nice for hiking and family trips. Thanks to several cable cars it is easy to get up the mountains, even in summer for hiking. Besides there is a broad infrastructure for tourists including free public transport in the from the Brenner down to Bozen. It has a small whirlpool outdoor with view, restroom, sauna, and cold drinks. + Our room was fabulous: large, clean, well furnished, balcony with mountain view + Breakfast had a very good selection, and dinner included an appetizer salad and soup buffet, first and second course, and dessert. + Ski rental in the hotel, ski lift in 20 meters, you can even ski to the lift!
