We liked the attention of the owner, who was very attentive to our neeed and provided us with exactly information about the best way to reach Venice. The location, that is in a quiet neighborhood, which is comfortable for senior people and is a walkable distance from the train station. Also close there are some supermarkets, there is a bar where you can buy the transport tickets for Venice and the bus stop for going to Venice, to the Piazzale Roma is located like 5 min walking from the hotel. All was pretty good for us.

It was easily the cheapest hotel in the area but so comfortable and clean. The breakfast was a basic breakfast but everything was lovely the pastries and coffee were the perfect start to day. The staff c we’re amazing couldn’t do enough to assist us went above and beyond to make our stay as nice as they could can’t wait until our next booking

    Marghera is an ugly, industrial port city close to Venice. Nobody travels to that region to see Marghera, obviously Venice is the attraction. Our cruise was departing and returning to Marghera. This is why we stayed there.

    Marghera is very close and accessible to the center of Venice. The neighborhood is pleasant and quiet, and yet, stores and transportation are very close by. Restaurant are also close, but it was nice to have breakfast at Dear Venice Bed and Breakfast.

    The hotel was only a short walk to the railway station which was a priority for me as I took the train to main island of Venice everyday of my stay. I felt safe walking back to the hotel at night on my own.

    Great place to stay if you want to visit Venice on the cheap...

    Great place to stay if you want to visit Venice on the cheap. There was a lovely pizzeria down the road called 'Pizzeria Al Calesse'. They did the best pizzas and Italian food we eat on our stay. The staff were very friendly and spoke English. Great value and amazing food. Also, there was a lovely English style pub called 'MARCIANO PUB MARGHERA', which did many beers and served burgers.

    Hotel Roma was where my partner and I stayed.

    Hotel Roma was where my partner and I stayed. We felt it was perfect for what we came to Marghera for - to visit Venice. If you want to stay close to Venice, but not actually IN Venice, this hotel was perfect for that. It's a 1-2 block walk away from the closest bus stop to get you in/out of Venice without the hustle and bustle of a tourist hotspot. The complimentary breakfast was also worth waking up early for.

    Staff is really helpful and nice. The room is simple but clean and comfortable. The breakfast spread is not bad, standard hotel fare. Location is quite good, you can get to bus stops which take you into the Venice central area. However you need to either go very early or later toward the afternoon otherwise it might be fully packed with tourists entering the city... I think it was good value to stay in Marghera, very quick and convenient to get to Venice by public transport.

    Location is very good, <10 mins walk from the train station that brings you straight to Venice St Lucia. Easy parking at the hotel. The room had a 1970ies interior. Maintained, clean but outdated. Breakfast buffet was limited. But hey, the room is not too expensive. So for a one or two-night stay to visit Venice its ok.

    Beautiful and clean bedroom, two minutes walk from Mestre train station. You can travel to Venice S. Lucia in 10 minutes. The deco in the bedroom was very beautiful, very homely feeling. Breakfast included. Free private parking on the hotel yard. The reception was very warm and welcoming. Good affordable place to stay.
