We loved the fact that it's run by a beautiful family! La Dottoressa and owner Simonetta made sure that the Hotel Gigli is perfect in every aspect. From the super friendly and helpful Oronzo at the front desk in the afternoon to the super nice Simonetta's niece in the morning. The entire hotel has been recently renovated!!! With taste and style. The breakfast selection was our best one in Puglia (we stayed in more than 8 accommodations). Always fresh fruit, homemade ciambellone, focaccia, cornetti alla crema, alla cioccolata, crostate, marmellate, pasticciotto, eggs, prosciutto and more... Everything was served from a super positive and professional another niece! The private parking, location, room amenities, and the wonderful people at Gigli's Hotel make it unique! Thank you from Cristiano & Serena! P.S. we will be back for sure!

It’s taken a few days to write this review as words can not describe such a wonderful experience. Patrizia and Antonio are perfect hosts. They are the kindest people you could hope to meet. All the food was amazing, including the welcome lunch and the delicious, locally sourced home cooked breakfast. The place is truly beautiful and a great place to relax or to use as a base to travel to nearby towns. We stayed in the suite which has its own private terrace with sitting area, I highly recommend to book this if you can; its own private entrance and views of the beautiful countryside make it an unforgettable retreat. Thank you so much.

    The resort was very family orientated.

    The resort was very family orientated. It felt safe and there was a lovely atmosphere. We were initially surprised at how busy the beach was but for good reason, the sand is lovely and the sea clear. 2 loungers and a beach umbrella were available for 20 euros. There were lots of beach vendors but they were good natured and not too intrusive. Considering how many people were on the beach, there didn't seem to be as many around in the evening. We felt there wasn't a big choice of restaurants/bars and there was one bar, with neon lights, playing louder music which seemed to be empty but then maybe it was a late starter as we only saw it up to about 10.30pm. There were a changing selection of stalls along the promenade with food stands and some small fairground rides available for young children whilst we were there. I don't know if they were there for the full summer season.

    The pool area is awesome! It's a big space that includes a pub to get some drinks and ice cream while enjoying the sun. The staff is incredibly friendly and they made us feel like home. The breakfast is delicious with both savory and sweet options. The room is well equipped with an AC. The hotel is close to the crystal clear water beaches. I'd definitely recommend.

    The Lady that we made the Check-In was very kind and explained us everything. The Room was very big and had all things we needed. The Hotel offers also Lunch to go for the beach. It's 5 to 10 min from the beach and a little drive to the Maldive del Salento or Torre Vado. The big plus is that they have a big parking space for those who came with the car.

    This little tidy hotel was close to the beautiful beach, to a Mini market. We could park free our car nearby. It has a shower next to the breakfast area, so you can enter your room with clean feet. Room is cleaned everyday The breakfast was OK, there were savory and sweet choices, too. And lactosefree milk was available, which was a great advantage
