We spent the 25th of April and the rest of the weekend at Mangia’s Selinunte Resort and it was truly an unforgettable experience. Every detail was carefully thought out, making us feel special from the moment we arrived. The atmosphere captured the true essence of Sicily the food was absolutely incredible, full of authentic flavors that made us feel like we were sharing a meal with lifelong friends. The bar was a highlight too, with an especially friendly team who made every moment enjoyable. A special mention to the Calogero Negroni hands down the best Negroni we’ve ever had, crafted with passion and skill like no other. The staff throughout the resort were incredibly warm and welcoming, always with a smile and a kind word and the director Giampiero, as always, was so humble and approachable, making us feel not like guests, but like part of the Mangia’s family. It’s rare to find a place where every little thing is done with such heart and care, we can’t wait to come back! 100% recommended!

We stayed 1 night at this family owned and operated bnb. It is a wonderfully peaceful location within an olive grove with lovely gardens and settings. Angelica checked us in and showed us to our room, which was very clean, spacious and comfortable, with a very comfortable bed. The location is a few kilometres from Selinute Archaeological Park and the village so they offer a set menu dinner, which we appreciated and recommend it. Angelica was in charge of the guests, whilst her mother prepared the food. Dad was on hand for general duties! All in all a very enjoyable stay. Recommended.

We had a wonderful stay, starting each day with an amazing and varied buffet breakfast. The accommodation was bright, clean and spacious, with a quiet courtyard to relax in. Our host, Maria, was very friendly and helpful in every way, suggesting things to see and places to eat, even helping to organise our onward transport when buses were not running. Can definitely recommend a stay here.

Small and calm village.

Small and calm village. There is one shop and few good restaurants. We had everything what we needed. But for someone who needs more action could be boring after few days. We visited Palermo, Marsala, Trapani, Erice. It's posible to use public transport for all those trips also with children (we have 3).

It is very authentic - and not so overrun with tourists.

It is very authentic - and not so overrun with tourists. On the other hand, they have not made a special effort to attract tourists either. Many good and reasonable dining options. The harbor environment is cozy and easy to navigate, especially if you bring your swimsuit and go for a swim from the beach.

A small seaside town with an Italian flair and narrow streets. It has everything you need—cafes, restaurants, shops, a pier. But it doesn't have all the irritating things: clubs, crowds, and heavy traffic.

First and foremost, the host was excellent and gave me a lift to nearest town as bus service is 'patchy'. He went far beyond what I would normally expect in his welcome and explanations of everything Sounds like a sideline but place itself was excellent with large room with its own terrace.
