Marsala is not that big, the city center is small but charming, a part from that it is not that safe outside the center. The streets are devoided of people and you feel unsafe, my gf got catcalled from the balcony of a house. Marsala is a beautiful town easy to walk around with many pedestrianised streets . Many local restaurants bar and cafe . Fantastic barque architecture . During the last two weeks I lived in the beautiful appartement of Lo Scorcio Sullo Stagnone and can wholeheartedly recommend this perfectly located accomodation to the fullest. Vincenzo and Lucia, the owners of the appartement, are very cordial hosts who do a great job in providing for the best experience possible, the house and rooms are fully equipped, well mantained and the breakfast is deliciously prepared. The property is extremely clean (exceptionally clean!) and has everything you need. There is AC in 2 of the 3 bedrooms and they were efficient. The common areas were warm (we were there in August) but we didn’t spend much time there during the day, and at night, there was a good breeze on the upper floor. Bonus points for the large terrace. Very good parking options in a small square. The rooms are nice and always clean and tidy. But the best thing is the owners. Very friendly and hospitable. Every morning they personally meet the guests and give advice about their vacation. You can see that they love Sicily.
