Excellent family-run hotel. Perfect for a relaxing stay, far away from busy tourist areas. Located at the seaside, with a beautiful view. The breakfast was amazing. We’ve also tried the Michelin star restaurant, great culinary experience. The family that runs the hotel as well as staff were very friendly and helpful. We truly enjoyed our stay at Taverna del Capitano.

The room was exceptionally clean and comfortable with crisp bed linen. The food (we ate breakfast and dinner) was delicious! The staff were warm, friendly and extremely helpful. The location was great. High up, the air was fresh and clean. The views were amazing. The view from the restaurant terrace was incredible. A short walk to the centre of town and a nice bus ride down to Sorento.

Stunning hotel, located in a tranquil cove, surrounded by massive cliffs, around 10-15 minutes drive from Sorrento. The venue is a tropical oasis. With amazing views of Capri and Ischia. The staff are wonderful! Especially the 3 helpful ladies on the desk (apologies, but we kept forgetting to ask their names!). The room was also cleaned every day for 4 days. Nothing at all was ever a problem. Extremely comfortable bed. There is a free shuttle to Sorrento 4 times a day, you just pay for the journey home, and you can WhatsApp the driver to arrange. There is a massive breakfast selection, and 4 types of eggs available from chef. The resort is more of a music and pool resort than a luxury spa. It is extremely relaxing, but don’t expect a yoga retreat :) Really enjoyed the tunes all day from Paco De Rosa 👌 Also, the saltwater pool and the service at the pool was top class!

The staff was really helpful. the place was so quiet and nice. amazing view. clean and nice. We really enjoyed our stay at this place. just remember. maybe the Wifi or your data connection not working properly there. but you can enjoy some good offline moments at least. if you really need Internet it is not your location.

Fantastic view, comfortable beds, good breakfast and friendly staff. we were with a car and hotel have a parking, otherwise you have to use a bus which is just outside the hotel. The restaurant is also very good.

It's away from the noise of the crowds but still a 20...

It's away from the noise of the crowds but still a 20 minutes bus drive away (so you don't have to worry about parking or driving those tight roads) - and the way over is very beuatiful. Massa Lubrense itself is beautiful, it has nice mountain views, nice people and nice restaurants, supermarkets and shops. It is also 'on the way' to the Amalfi coast, so if you're planning on continuing your trip later its a nice place to stick around for a while.

This area is a perfect base for visiting the Amalfi Coast.

This area is a perfect base for visiting the Amalfi Coast. The bus takes you to Sorrento one way and Positano the other, but can get full up quickly. However there are taxis around if you prefer. In Sant Agata there are very reasonably priced restaurants and a great children's playground near to the go-kart track.

A bit isolated.

A bit isolated. Restaurants and bars limited, and very expensive compared to other resorts in area eg Sorrentto. Also bigger distance from Sorrentto than expected. An hour on bus, which are infrequent in September, and packed. Last one back, 6pm!

Horrible! Crowded, and the traffic is insane. People drive as if they want to die. Reckless motorcycles everywhere. If you come from a place where traffic is organized and respectful, do not go there.

This is an adorable and cozy little harbor community, that feels like Family. Overseen by Angelo and his family, who own the bar, alimentaria, and other key facilities, it is a congregated entertainment opportunities that allow you to stay and have everything you need right at hand! It has a beach, albeit a stone pier is the sum and total of the "Beach", it has boats to take you to Capri, it has bars, groceries, souvenir stores, and restaurants.

Our stay at Ristorante Hotel La Primavera could not have been better. The room and hotel were wonderful. The food was great. Best of all the service was 5 star! My wife and I were treated like special guests and family the entire time. Claudio, Nino, Luigi, and Marina and the kitchen staff went out of their way to make everything perfect. We will miss them and hope to see them one day again!

Best place to stay so far during our holiday in Italy. This sleepy village is among local residents, olive and lemon tree groves away from the hectic of Napoli and Amalfi coast. Cozy and homy like staying in your second house. The kitchen is well equipped, clean bathroom and toilet, there is place to do laundry, a private terrace to have meal outside, etc. Candida is very lovely and always helpful to our questions. My family and I felt a bit sad to leave this place and we definitely will be back

I really liked the area. Very friendly people. The windows of all rooms are with a beach view. The room was very comfortable and clean. Marco was always helpful with everything. He met us at the train station and brought us by car to the hotel, helped us with the tour of Amalfi. Since the hotel is located on the seaside, in order to reach the center of Sorrento, you will need to climb a steep slope. But Marco helped us with this and took us several times to the city center. It was nice trip.

Great property, clean, tidy and reasonably modern. Pool facilities are nice. The town Massa Lubrense is a cool little place outside of the crowds that are Sorrento and Amalfi, boat trips go from the harbour below and there are great little restaurants available at good pricing.

The stay was perfect, the food was simply great and one of the best we had in italy, the balcony was comfortable and the room was also big enough. The owner was helpful when we were not able to find taxis and provided us with contact, greeted us warmly and buffet was also good
