Lovely Hotel with lovely double sea view room and beach - lovely helpful staff especially Francesca on reception who went above and beyond to help us - Meta is better than staying in overpriced Sorrento as you have beach and 25 bus ride to Sorrento - would come back again and would stay only at this Hotel - PS The best place to eat nearby 10 min walk is Tico Tico restaurant - classy waiting staff and food Grazie Tanto Alimuri Bay Resort - a più presto!

A fantastic stay! Everything is so well thought, and amazingly decorated with a lot of attention to details and amenities, it is clean, we had everything we needed. The garden is incredibly beautiful, peaceful, and surrounded by lemons and oranges, just lovely. Enzo is a wonderful host, he radiates positivity, he’s incredibly helpful and nice. The breakfast was amazing, homemade with locally sourced products. It was a memorable experience, a hidden gem!

Our rooms were very clean and fresh we loved the location. the hotel was beautiful with amazing artwork. also right next to bus stop to Sorrento and 10 minute walk to train. Milena was so helpful with offering us local information on timetables, drivers and restaurants. We thought the for money was very good and Meta was a great base to explore the Amalfi coast.

We had a lovely time as a family. Federica provided very helpful information The flat was clean and spacious, with beautiful Italian décor. Perfect location, just a short walk to the beach. A truly wonderful experience for us as a family, and we only wish we could have stayed longer.

Amazing property manager who gave valuable tips for exploring the area (places to see, bus departure times etc.). Exceptional breakfast with fruits freshly collected from the garden and freshly baked croissants with filling of choice. The room was clean and well equipped, water and snacks free of charge. Lovely village.

Lovely village. Fabulous views of Bay of Naples, Capri and coastal area. gorgeous cafe across from Church del Lauro. friendly and chatty owner. Local Sita bus available and frequent - central to visit Piano de Sorrento, north to naples and down south to Sorrento, Positano and Amalfi Coast. Supermarkets/local shops for supplies.

Meta was a great location if looking for an affordable base...

Meta was a great location if looking for an affordable base to explore the coast. We were able to catch the bus into Sorrento daily (it can be a bit of a wait and not always on schedule), and also connect to Amalfi and Positano via the SITA buses.

Meta is lovely.

Meta is lovely. I would use it more as a base though and tour around. Like Pompeii or Rome which was a short trip. It’s pretty quiet, not much around for a grocery store but the people were some of the loveliest we met throughout our tour through Italy. Bus is decent, hard to get a taxi. Train service excellent. You must try Le Conca restaurant in Meta - we went every day, is what THAT good! https://www.ristorantelaconca.net/ Wifi was spotty throughout, but we were having severe rainstorm while here which impacted where we could go. Sorrento was flooded.

We only had a couple of days and we arrived in the middle of...

We only had a couple of days and we arrived in the middle of heavy rain quite late. We spent the following staying close to the beach and had lunch at TicoTico (suggested by our host) which was excellent! Meta is a quieter place to stay than Sorrento but we found it easy to get there by bus.

Basically, the beaches were crowded, plus there were nothing...

Basically, the beaches were crowded, plus there were nothing to see during snorkeling. So we usually travelled to other places. Unfortunately the public bus transport is pretty bad. No timetable, what google map finds is either out of date or simply not as it expected. We had never known if a scheduled 1-2 bus is coming or not. Total stochastic, and it is pretty bad in the evening. The place itself is nice, but that's all.

The staff is amazing, specially the lady that serve the breakfast and clean the rooms. She was super helpful and kind. This is super nice and clean place to stay. The terrace with the view is unique. The room is something amazing for the value of money. It is quite, comfortable, lighted and safe. To hotel is small, but the decoration, pictures and ornaments are just perfect match. Very close to Meta beach which has very nice restaurants there and the beach is one of the few sand beaches in the area.

Everything about this hotel was delightful. Its setting was wonderful, the views from our junior suite were amazing, the staff were great from those who were on reception, those in the restaurant, those who cleaned the room and those who parked cars. Private beach was just great to use
