When traveling to places like Milan, there tends to be a high range of expectations for what a traveler intends to experience either at a hotel, or museums, or restaurants, etc. What I enjoyed the most about Magna Pars L'hotel was how genuine everyone and everything was to having a unique and exceptional experience at the hotel, with the food, and Milan. The hotel had such an interesting vibe and the whole place felt electric, yet peaceful - a rare combination to achieve.

The owners and staff were all very friendly and helpfull. The room was much more homely than a 'normal' hotel. The garden was also a lovely place to sit and spend some time. Lots of fruit trees, herbs, lizards, birds! The information about the city was really helpful, very close to the metro and easy to get into the city. Easy access to Milano Bicocca university. Good food options around the hotel and a few launderettes nearby.

    There are several FS stations apart from the Stazione...

    There are several FS stations apart from the Stazione Centrale. Some of these are connected to a NORTH NETWORK. These tickets cannot be bought from regular FS ticket offices only the GREEN MACHINES which customers have to "FIND". This makes travel incredibly difficult. The different tickets need diverse validation. Their tickets are sold from newsagents in an EDICOLA a little newsagents. As if it was 1947. Trains are removed from listing without showing platforms. The city is swarming with private motor vehicles and is pedestrian hostile. There is double parking in the centre of the roads and on all pavements. TAXI app INTAXI will suddenly change your pickup address so you cannot enter your address. I was blocked after repeating the same address while waiting 20 mins for a "4 minute" wait at 09.45. Complete mayhem. Get the METRO for everything. Get exactly what you need from Milan, and leave.

    Milan is a city we had not heard much about by comparison...

    Milan is a city we had not heard much about by comparison with other places in Italy. We were so pleasantly surprised. There's lots to explore and see. The first stop was the Cathedral which was truly breath taking. Totally stunning! Afterwards we sauntered through an amazing arcade full of upmarket shops then onto a tour of La Scala. Following this, we visited the Last Supper (a Da Vinci masterpiece) and discovered Sforza Castle bang in the middle of Milan. We visited a students' Art Gallery and enjoyed a walk and a meal along the bustling canal on the last balmy evening. Sadly, we ran out of time to explore further.

    Great city. Exceptional museums.

    Great city. Exceptional museums. Maybe the city is too crowded. Traffic is insane. Duomo is great, but walking on the rooftop is overrated. It takes sometime to understand how the public transportation works, however as you get to it, it takes you anywhere. Never felt unsafe when walking by alone (actually did not do it after 9p). DO NOT TAKE taxis from Malpensa (unless you do not care for your money value): take the express train to Central Station or to Rogoredo (easy to switch to subway, tramway or buses). You may take the equivalent bus (cheaper but much slower).

    It was a return to Milan, precisely because the first one...

    It was a return to Milan, precisely because the first one left us with extremely beautiful memories. The central area, the Duomo, the Vittorio Emmanuele Galleries, the Opera and all the other attractions are worth it. The San Siro stadium, exceptional, we went to a match with an exceptional atmosphere. This time we walked a lot around Milan and discovered fabulous landscapes and places!

    Milan was great but I got scammed on a BNB, I booked it on Booking.com but the person who had the BNB be put a fake photo of a great bnb. The address was Appartme Martini 33 p7, never book it! When it was time to go their they sent me a different address which was far from the original address which was listed on Booking.com. Smelly, stinky and dirty room, bed, washroom, no kitchen, no wifi, broken window, in a neighbourhood that was in a middle of no where!

    It was my third time visiting Milan, my husband's first.

    It was my third time visiting Milan, my husband's first. We had one objective: Spend the day self-touring with an audio guide through the cathedral, rooftop terraces, and Duomo museum, plus lunch at Rinascente. It took approximately seven hours to meet our goals. There's much more to see in Milan, but we have so many other places to visit that Milan is not at the top of our return-again list.

    The apart hotel location is as central as it gets and you will be able to go around the city centre of Milan by foot. However, there is very good public transport such as trams and metro that will allow you to travel easily to most locations. The apartment was decent size and modern, including most basic amenities. There are plenty of shops, cafes and restaurants in the immediate vicinity and beyond.

    The apartment was amazing and very clean. It's perfect for two travellers and the facilities were amazing! We lost our hotel on the day we got to Milan and the luxurious apartment staff were really helpful and kind despite us booking very last minute. It's a very decent price for being so close to the city centre and I will definitely book it again if I come back to Milan.

    This has been so far the best hotel I have stayed in in Milan. Very confortable, the staff is very friendly and helpfull. The hotel has a wonderfull inner garden, where I was able to work and relax. The rooms have high ceilings and are big enough. You can walk to the city centre in 20 minutes. I certainly will be back again!

    This hotel is a budget option close to City Centre and Milan Station. It has little in way of facilities but a good value budget option. It is on a main tram route which is both an obvious advantage but unfortunately can also be noisy with trams running until past midnight and restarting at 5am. A reasonable budget option.
