This is a new Hotel. Everything was clean, modern and comfortable. Barely a 5 minute walk to the sea front. The staff were amazing and always ready to help, including to find us a place in a beach lido. One important thing: take the hotel’s advice and ask them to book for you in advance a good place in a beach lido, as otherwise you risk not finding a place at all. The breakfast was the best we’ve had in ages at a hotel. It’s a la carte and serving some very authentic Sicilian food.

Absolute gem! Warm welcome, beautiful, high-quality interior design, wonderful art, great room with outdoor hot tub! Delicious breakfast! One of the best omlet's ever had! And of course fresh local orange juice :) We loved our stay and we will definitely recommend to others. Everyone was friendly and professional. Private parking was also a bonus.

This hotel exemplifies holidays in Italy - with a huge outdoor saltwater pool and steps to a rocky outcrop with ladder to get you into & out of the sea. Seriously amazing hotel at the end of the road. Staff are typically Italian - so don't be expecting the service with a smile. Our waiter for lunchtime was super grouchy - I think it just added to the whole fab Italian experience. Short walk into main town for shopping, restaurants and bars. We stayed around the hotel and just had the best time ever sunbathing, sea swimming and pool swimming and making use of the pool bar! Awesome place to stay.

    A roomy and well-equipped villa with all the facilities you need, including WiFi, a kitchen, washing machine, air-con, There were also parasols and folding chairs, and beach towels. The beach was only 10 mins stroll away and this is where we spent most of our time due to semi-aquatic grandchildren!. Riccardo, who looks after the villa, was a really helpful and attentive host. Mondello has plenty of restaurants within easy walking distance - the ones we liked were Raphael, Nico, Le Rocce and Sariddu. The owner of Sariddu claimed to be a Liverpool supporter (like one of our number), but I suspect this depended on who he was talking to! Things to see - the Duomo in Monreale. You can park just south of it, and it is jaw-droppingly amazing. Asis the Chiesa del Gesu in Palermo. We went to the BioPark Sicilia as well - great for children and most adults.

    We went into town in the evenings for food. There are lots of choices. The restaurants were very touristy but still good. HUGE portions in most of them. Forget about finishing both a primo and a secundo.

    A laid back easy going beach resort with BB Design very close to the beachfront and restaurants. Clean comfortable well maintained premises. A very accessible,engaged, knowledgeable and helpful staff. It has a welcoming feel. Highly recommended.

    Very beautiful beach BUT 90% is occupied by umbrellas and beds to rent at 30€ per day for 2 persons....!!! There are beautiful houses to see but is only that.. there's gardage everywhere!! Honestly , ill never return to mondelo!! You can go for 1 or 2 days and you'll understand what im saying. But no more than that!! Dont spend your money there!! (go to cefalu, is very clean, beautiful and the beach is also very good and you have a lots of restaurants and shops)

    Mondello is a little bit boring sicilian town, with less attractions and do not have this lovely Italian vibe and tasty food ( just a few places) . The beach is fine, but organization not. The sea is wonderful! A little bit disappointed ,that we have chosen this place on the Sicily for our vacation, Taormania and places around it are the way more beautiful! Recommend to stay there.

    I would NOT recommend Mondello simply because it is so dirty!!! There are many other beautiful CLEAN beaches in Sicily and it was extremely disappointing to see this. Even the town is not clean - the streets are not clean and garbage everywhere. Totally NOT worth it!! Go to the southern part of Sicily

    Great location opposite the beach & easy strolling distance to the piazza and other shops. Bus stop very convenient to get Palermo. Naomi who manages it is fantastic & nothing is too much trouble. Breakfast has a great variety and Naomi is very good at knowing what you like & remembering each day. The gardens surrounding the villa are lovely with lounges and sunbeds. The rooms with a terrace have great views of the ocean. Parking if you need it is easy at the property.

    The host was fantastic! She was very helpful with everything that we asked and gave us tons of tips for our trip. I definitely would recommend anyone visit Mondello to stay here. Great location as well, but if you are travelling with small kids then you will need a car to get to the beach (5 mins in car). There are so many places you can park your car but make sure to get parking ticket. Free parking after 8PM near the beach.

    Lovely b&b. Very close to the beach and close to a key bus stop - you can take the bus to Palermo very easy. Great gelato shops nearby. The room has a fridge and hairdryer and air conditioning and was very clean. Breakfast was yummy. The hosts were amazing they were so friendly and helpful. The garden was lovely.

    Beautifully decorated, very comfortable & Valentina was delightful. Lots of space, gorgeous garden, terraces and air conditioning and washing machine was a bonus. Generous welcome basket provided which was appreciated. Street parking close to the property. Easy walk to Mondello beach. Would highly recommend.

    The property is located in (our opinon) the best area of Mondello. Highly recommended, especially for beach lovers. The house was very clean and the bed was very comfortable. There is a bus stop close by to go to Palermo Historic Center, which is very convenient.
