The rooms were super and unepectedly we had a fridge per room with water bottles. The lady was sweet and understanding and made súre everything was up to our standards. Our breakfast was prepared 30 minutes earlier which was perfect (Variety of choices to chaose from)

The town location was fabulous. There was a real authentic charm about the house and the town. The history surrounding the house was palpable...I could almost feel the presence of the owner's grandparents.

From the moment we arrived, the owner and his family made us feel genuinely welcome. The owner and his sister were extremely friendly, attentive, and eager to help, ensuring that our stay was as comfortable as possible. The entire service was consistently professional, yet warm and personal. We were positively surprised by how exquisite breakfast and dinner were. The highlight was undoubtedly the room’s panoramic view of the mountains/ocean — a truly stunning sight to wake up to each morning. The scenery alone was worth the visit, with vibrant sunrises and serene sunsets creating a perfect backdrop for relaxation. The facilities were all well-maintained, and any requests were handled promptly and efficiently. The blend of excellent hospitality and natural beauty made our stay unforgettable. We are looking forward to returning and would highly recommend Locanda degli Ulivi to anyone seeking both comfort and a remarkable setting.

We arrived in Mongiana as a stop on the long cycle route...

We arrived in Mongiana as a stop on the long cycle route through the parks of Calabria. We were supposed to stop in the previous town, but we decided to continue a bit further. Finding a hotel and restaurant in this charming little village was a godsend.
