Location is tops, we arrived on time as per our notice to the host, Alessandro and he helped us locate street parking swiftly. We had been driving and travelling all day and the room was quite welcoming and spotless. We showered immediately and headed out for dinner. We could enjoy a glass of wine on both nights as we didn't have to drive to our accommodation. We went for a walk around and couldn't help but notice how the residential areas had clean streets and pavements. The linen at the apartment was soft and fresh smelling, the AC was welcoming and the host kindly provided complimentary bottled water and coffee and tea.... Small touches that are appreciated until you find a general store which we discovered on the way back from the piazza. The interior decorator is modern but unmistakably Sicilian. This was a good location for our day in Cefalu/Palermo. We opted to have our dinners in Monreal. Plenty of choices and the people dress up and go out and are very social. We also noted lots of pizza boxes coming out as takeaway from a nearby takeout pizzeria, no dine in but super popular with the locals. Zia Lia. The apartment is well equipped with utensils and there's also a big fridge/freezer. Highly recommended, the rooms are on the first floor and there's is no lift, so not accessible for people with mobility issues, 10/10 from us.

Lovely room and the property with great safe parking inside the property (especially because we were travelling by motorcycle). The location is great, close to Duomo and direct bus to Palermo. The breakfast was excellent and served when we've asked for. The hosts, Santino and Elvira were wonderfull. They offered a ride to the bus station for Palermo, recommended a great osteria where we ate excellent pasta and the staff was great. Our hosts offered also to drive us to osteria or pick us up altough it's only 5-minute walk from them. If you like warm and welcoming hosts during your whole stay this is definitely a place for you.

We had an amazing time here in Monreale. The house is in a very good position, a few steps from the square and the Duomo. Bed is comfortable, terrace and balcony are amazing. Neighbours are very friendly and helpful, too. We felt like we were at home.

The Duomo is exceptional and a must-see, but this is also...

The Duomo is exceptional and a must-see, but this is also the main draw-back in that very shortly after opening in the morning it is heaving with tour parties. Evenings are very pleasant as very few tourists stay there. It is also very handy for day trips to Palermo, although as the bus service seems to have been reduced since I was there 9 years previously, I ended up having to drive to the city, which is not exactly stress-free!

The cathedral is one of the finest in Sicily and is a must visit. The complex is beautiful and can be viewed from the top level of the cathedral. Exquisite embroidered vestaments and silverware, accessories and ceramics are displayed on different levels of the staircase. The village is quaint with good restaurants.

Lots to visit, but our timing was terrible and it was raining. The cathedral is a must, but we didn't arrive in time before they closed. Same with the other museums. The city is walkable and there are lots of cute restaurants. You really need a full day there to appreciate.

Monreale is a city built on the side of the mountain, so be...

Monreale is a city built on the side of the mountain, so be prepared to walk up hills and stairs! The big attraction there is the Duomo in the main square which is just beautiful in the inside as the artwork is done in gold! You will have to pay an entrance fee, but it is worth it. The streets can be a bit of challenge to navigate as there are street vendors, cars, vespas, bicycles and pedestrians all trying maneuver through the narrow streets. Monreale gives you a beautiful view of Palermo and the ocean.

We spent only an afternoon here, but so glad that we included it on our trip. The cathedral was the most beautiful we had seen on our trip to Italy - we also visited ones in Palermo, Cefalu, and Catania. There were several interesting restaurants on side streets near the town center and we found a lovely ceramic/mosaic shop just off the central square. Views were amazing and it was an easy car ride to the airport for our departure the next day.

The staff were incredibly helpful and friendly, they made us feel right at home. The breakfast options were one of the best out of previous BnBs and they did us a breakfast to go when we were out on a boat trip. The hotel was incredibly clean, calm and relaxing; it was clear the staff work hard and are passionate about their family business. They were happy to answer any questions and were regularly available on WhatsApp for all needs. Beautiful location with stunning views of Monreale and Palermo, with transport available to get into Palermo.

The staff was very helpful and friendly. We enjoyed staying in this apartment. Monreale Duomo was stunning. From our apartment to Palermo Duomo, it's just a 20-minute drive. We've been in Siracusa, Noto, Modica, Agrigento, Erice, Cefalu, Enna, Villa Romana, dele Casale, Catania, Taormina. Sicily is a beautiful place to visit. People are very friendly. Driving in Sicily is easy!!!

The hosts are very friendly and they dropped us off in Monreale. The next day the host dropped us off at the bus station. They gave us much tips about what there is to see and do in Monreale. Very friendly and genuinely kind people! The swimming pool and garden was beautiful. You see the work and love that the hosts are putting in their garden!
