The hotel staff and the location alone deserve a perfect 10. Breakfast was exceptional as well, and we had a lovely dinner at the hotel restaurant the night before we left (they served their own olive oil at dinner, and it was delicious). The chocolate fondant here was out of this world, and the pistachio-filled croissants at breakfast were our favourite. The rooms were comfortable and cozy.

The room was lovely, well maintained clean and in good order. The view of the lake was especially lovely, although in the summer the trees on the opposite side of the road will obscure some of the view. The room was a suite with lake view and was big enough to accommodate 4 big (77cm) luggage bags! Excellent cupboard space.

The staff is just the most friendly, on arrival we had a complementary upgrade to the most luxurious room, everything was handled exceptionally. A must stay when you want to reside in Desenzano and don’t want to stay on the boulevard.
