Loved our stay. Owner Antonio, and his live in staff of Tanya and Roma were all wonderful and kind. Our breakfasts were very nice, but the dinners were special. Not only the service, but the local products from the owners farm were used as much as possible in the meals. Roma shared recipes for my wife to take home. Do yourselves a favor and stay here. Relaxing and a historic building that is filled with antiques. The room was comfortable and had a great shower. There is even an elevator.

We (2 adults + 2 teen kids) have stayed at this lovely B&B, which is very well cared for and equipped with everything you could have imagined. There was nothing missing for the comfortable stay. I can confidently say that this was one of the best places we had ever stayed in our lifetime, both in terms of the structure itself, but also for the fantastic host Dina and her husband. The rooms are all brand new, really nice and spacious, with perfect cleaning & a great comfortable bed. Nice artistic décor attention to details. B&B is equipped with private parking, warm heating with large, safe outdoor area. Great communication. Rich and plentiful breakfast. We will definitely be back. I highly recommend this place to anyone. It is really rare to find. Do not miss it. You will never regret it. Thank you so much for the unforgettable stay. It was a truly magical experience for us.

It is a family house where rooms are rented out on the first floor. The rooms are wonderful, comfortable and have everything you need. The terrace is huge. The surroundings are like from a fairy tale. The owners are wonderful people. We were there for Christmas and they even brought us cakes that they made for themselves. Thanks again for the quick booking. Big greetings to the family.

Morano Calabro is a gorgeous old town. Very pittoresque.

Morano Calabro is a gorgeous old town. Very pittoresque. The pretty pictures found on the internet cannot capture the real beauty of this place and its authentic and relaxed atmosphere. The people are also very friendly. Unless you like touristy places, this unspoiled place represents Italy at its best. The area is very mountainous and a hiker's paradise. Restaurants serve excellent food and at a very low price.

We strongly recommend Morano Calabro to any travelers who enjoy the ambiance of old village communities. The old Town in Morano Calabro is alive with friendly residents, little shops, local butcher, hair salons etc. We fell in love with the place. You can take the narrow twisty road to the Castello on the top of the hill but we enjoyed the walk. Enjoyed a 5 star lunch at restaurant L'Antico Borgo.

Morano Calabro is a very simple mountain village with steep roads and stairways leading to the Norman Castle at the top of the hill. The surrounding environment is spectacular especially the Pollino National Park. The church and abbey of San Bernadino is highly recommended.

A small village with considerable artistic and scenic beauty...

A small village with considerable artistic and scenic beauty. Some churches boasted valuable statues, such as those by Bernini senior, and another a polyptych by Vivarini. Be prepared to walk a bit strenuously, as the village is perched on a mountain ridge.

It was wonderful to get lost and wander the winding streets...

It was wonderful to get lost and wander the winding streets of the town. Even more wonderful to refresh yourself with a few beers in the various bars there. There's nothing there except a few churches and a ruined castle. But that nothingness filled my consciousness with sensations of a past in which the center was inhabited by other people, and by a general vitality.

I didn't stay long in this place, but it fascinated me,...

I didn't stay long in this place, but it fascinated me, reminding me a bit of Matera. I'll return as soon as I can to explore it further and visit the Pollino National Park. I had dinner at the La Cantina farmhouse, a restaurant with an amazing quality-price ratio.
